The 'Manos & Anastasia Faltaits Folk Art & Ethnographic Museum' is based on Skyros island in Greece and more than fifty years protects and promotes not only the local culture and history but generally matters of the Greek identity, through the vast variety of its collections, various exhibitions, educational programs, theatre and music performances. It is a complex of buildings and temporary exhibition areas extended in 1.100m2 surrounded by a grove of 5.400 m2 that includes an open air theatre of 500 seats. The collections include wooden, metal and ceramic artefacts, traditional costumes, embroideries, hand woven fabrics, tools & utensils, weapons, local documentation & archives, books, from 16th century and on, till recent years.

Kores is a new art and design gift shop, located in Chora, on the central footpath on the way to the museums. You'll find a fine selection of handmade jewelry and accessories all made by Greek designers.

Our products are carefully handmade using the finest gold and silver smithing techniques in our workshops located in Skyros Island,Greece.These include the collections of jeweller and head designer Alexandros Polychronos as well as several one of a kind, commissioned pieces. We offer a bespoke fitting service for all of our pieces as well as a design consultation for products made to order.
