Located in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains, Cooperstown is proud to be a one-stoplight town, with quiet streets and charming old homes, sitting amidst the natural beauty of Otsego County. The area is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the National Soccer Hall of Fame, the Fenimore Art Museum and the Glimmerglass Opera. Otsego County is also a popular destination for activities as diverse as antiquing, horseback riding and golf.

Named one of the top ten small art towns in the country, Brattleboro's downtown is packed with coffee shops, bookstores, and art galleries. Over the course of a year, the town hosts world class jazz concerts, film festivals, and theater companies. Since 1922, Brattleboro has also been home to the Harris Hill Ski Jump, an annual winter tradition that brings thousands of spectators to the town to watch as some of the world's best athletes tackle the death-defying 90-meter ski jump.

The largest national park in Spain, Sierra Nevada is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. The rugged terrain includes mountains and gorges made for hiking (Los Cahorros is a favourite with its limestone cliffs and hanging bridges), icy plunge pools for swimming, and plentiful tunnels and caves to explore. Those that aren’t so adventure-inclined can make their own excitement roaming through the many villages dotted throughout Las Alpujarras. The famous Alhambra castle and fortress is also close by, inspiring visitors with its breathtaking architecture and gardens.
