    Not to be missed!
This is a delightful destination garden, beautifully stocked and laid out with something in bloom in every season. Signed directions guide an interesting journey along the path that flows through the gardens and takes in every aspect. To top it all, the cafe is simply excellent - great food, knockout coffee, great value and the most welcoming and friendly staff.

A Fantastic Day Out for two Senior Citizens expecting Value for Money
Superb Day. Gardens are well kept and follow the paths as directed by the leaflet and it is exciting. Cafe - Well Menu is fantastic. Food is well presented and the content of the salad was amazing. You can just visit to enjoy the food without paying to visit the gardens. Enjoy a lunch or afternoon tea at a reasonable price.

    Delicious cream tea.
This gardens and tearooms are a true find. The food is soooo good and the staff are lovely, especially Dan who makes you feel so welcome. The scones with jam and cream are the best of the best. Very deserving of a trip.

    Lovely little gem, would return
Lovely place for a peaceful walk around for an hour or so, great to see such mature and established greenery. We visited on a sunny July day but I can imagine it would still be a nice visit on a rainy day, much of the paths seem sheltered. We didn't eat or drink at the cafe but the menu looked great. Entry price reasonable, would return again at other points in the year. We also visited the nearby Trengwainton Garden on the same day and actually preferred this garden!

Good refreshments and a lovely garden.
My wife and I visited the garden and tea rooms on the 3rd August 2024, we had not been for about six years. The garden, although predominantly a Spring location, was still beautiful, tranquil and worth a visit. The Tearoom is excellent, the menu and daily specials provide a good selection including vegan options. We ordered sandwiches which were freshly prepared, generous portions and were accompanied by a good salad garnish. The staff are polite, friendly, efficient and make you feel welcome. This location is value for money and certainly worth a visit.
