The clean lines of the design, the thoughtfully-selected gifts in the shop, the lovely soup and sandwiches in the cafe…. Everything has been done so well and so lovingly by people who have a real passion for the place. And there’s the pool too, which was unfortunately closed for cleaning the day of our visit. Geothermal pool is a constant 34’ and the main pool is a much cooler 12’! Timed sessions and great fun. I’m a fairly regular user of the seawater geo pool and the film made it a great afternoon. Staff are friendly and helpful and the changing room floor and decor updates are very good indeed! Naomis last day but she promises to take Saturday and Sunday morning classes in the near future. Keep an eye out for their booking page. Disabled facilities adequate. Cafe indoor space was closed which didn't suit me but if the weather bucks up a bit, what a fabulous view from their outdoor space. Pool staff were very accomodationg and enthusiastic. Near the railway station so worth the journey down to the furthest station on the GWR network. The changing rooms were dated but in line with the art deco experience. The pool was warm, the session not overbooked / crowded and I had plenty of room to move. The instructor was very engaging and demonstrated all moves (on poolside). I thoroughly enjoyed the session. The changing room facilities have improved, many cubicles having doors. They also have a good cafe on site for drinks/ hot snacks. We got lucky and managed to park in the car park opposite, I can imagine if you don’t get on there then parking nearby would be hard. We had great fun in the pool, the obstacle course was good and the slide was brilliant. I do think the slide could’ve been up for longer than an hour but still it was fun. Changing rooms and showers are a bit dated and grubby but it didn’t take away from the experience. Staff were all really friendly. The water is warm, the music is great and varied each week, you get a challenging workout but it is still gentle on your joints, plus the instructors are Fab-u-lous! They have recently done some renovations and I love the newly painted pastel coloured changing room doors.
