    Art on the Wall
Plenty of interesting art work along this piece of the old Berlin Wall. I would suggest going in early morning or early evening when it is cooler out. All the more famous works are crowded with people taking selfies.

    Correcting History
This was worth the visit. Easy to get to by bus or S bahn. The Oberbaum bridge is also at the beginning, so that’s a nice photo op. Molecule man statue, just down from the bridge. Panels of the wall have been painted with thoughtful, funny, clever, and varied messages. This is the largest open air gallery in the world. We really enjoyed our walk. There were a few bars, restaurants in the area overlooking the Spree. We didn’t stop in any but we were interested to see it was a choice. Glad we saw it!!!

One of must-see places in Berlin
I didn't know that the gallery is so long, but at least there is always something to look at. I have found my favorite paintings and I think that you will find something interesting by yourself too. Expect a lot of people that want to see the gallery, as much as you do. Because of that, the pedestrian walk is quite crowded and sometimes it's hard to make a clear shot of some painting. Alongside the gallery, there are information tables where you can hear mostly about the concrete paintings, and the stories of people living in the times when the Berlin wall was still existing and in use. No ticket for the gallery needed.

A great area for photo ops
Passed by this area and you can easily spend about an hour here just walking and enjoying all of the artwork here. A very large diverse group of people hang out here. Nice area to sit down by the riverbend and enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack. Nearby is the arena where there are quite a few restaurants to eat.

    A must see.
Wonderful place to go and see, and learn about the history. If you are going on a budget this is free to see, and a real must see. Look at the art work, and learn, and remember the times that were.

    Longest surviving stretch of wall
A 1.3km stretch of wall still standing and covered in art work; some really good, some unusual. Being outside the paintings get hit by all weather and in 2009, the whole gallery was restored. Definitely worth the short trip from the centre to see it. The hop-on-hop-off busses get you there from Alexanderplatz.

Very moving the cruelty of man breaks your heart 💔 Berlin is not a nice city and we did not feel safe here.
Best thing to visit in Berlin. The art and history is very moving. In all though we were very disappointed with Berlin. We did not feel safe here. Massive drug and mental health problems. Berlin was built on a swamp and there is large pink pipes for drainage of ground water. Alexander platza has lots of building work going on, also the roads it a bit chaotic to say the least. Think carefully about your research ,do you really really want to visit Berlin ? For us as very experienced travellers it's the worst place in the world we have ever been

    Interesting outdoor gallery
Fascinating and cultural look at Berlin’s history . Really made you stop and think and reflect. Well worth a visit. Easy to access on the hop on and hop off bus which stops outside and allows you 15 mins to take photos

    A wall that speaks volumes
I love art and every piece tells its own story. Definitely worth taking your time and taking in each piece as they all speak volumes. It was however crowded around the famous kiss, other than that I throughly enjoyed it.

    Good at Night
I was initially planning to see this in the daytime but decided to see it at night since we were going to be nearby. I’m glad I did. It wasn’t crowded and it was well lit by the nearby street lights. Lots of interesting murals. It took us about 15 minutes to see the whole thing. Note that Google Maps is slightly off. It was taking us about 2 blocks in to the Gallery instead of at one of the endpoints.
