    A great half hour trip
The 'Singapore Flyer' is a great experience, giving you views far across the Marina Bay area. It is the largest giant observation wheel in Asia, bigger than the London Eye even, and a popular destination for both tourists and locals. With 28 large, fully air-conditioned glass cabins, you enjoy a 30-minute journey that seems motion free, with plenty of opportunities to take breathtaking photos. The cost of a ride is S$40 and well worth it.

    Fantastic
You cannot come to Singapore and not get on the Flyer. It’s the only way to see the enormity of the city and the port. It’s 40SUSD per adult which includes a walkthrough history of Singapore and the actual turn on the Flyer. The ride lasts 30 minutes. Set behind the F1 pit lane.

This is a must try in Singapore. Avoid peak hours. After an interactive light and sound walkthrough displays showing the greatness of this country , you are led to a rather huge capsule that move rather slowly, you hardly notice it at first. Glittering skyline views are rewarded once the top is reached. Nearby outward views of neighboring islands can be seen. No food and drinks allowed inside the capsule unless you’ll be having the special packages or the Singapore sling sort of stuff. A little pricey for an admission but worth it.

Dusk until dark worked really well
Better than I expected, but we did time it really well, we had dusk until dark - which worked really well. The pre flyer history exhibition was better than I thought it would be, some decent digital graphics and interesting info. Builds up nicely to the flyer. The flyer offered great views, the engineering inspires, it was a great family thing to do.

    Amazing attraction
From the top, you can see the entire city in all its glory, with the Marina Bay in the foreground and the Singapore River in the background. The view is truly panoramic and picturesque, and it's the perfect place to take some great photos. The Flyer also offers a variety of food and drinks, so you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view.

Amazing views plus a little history thrown in
Loved this. It’s the tallest ferris wheel in the world and gives you a great view of Singapore. The newest interactive Time Capsule is a great quick way to find out about Singapore history without going to a museum. My teenage son thought it was ok and he wouldn’t go to the museum so good compromise. An activity you can do in wet or dry weather

Third biggest wheel in the world offers great views of Singapore
My wife and I did the Singapore Flyer on a cruise ship excursion in December 2023. We didn't spend much time in the various Time Capsule 'pre-show' areas as we had a tight timetable, but we had a wonderful time on the wheel itself. It's currently the third biggest wheel in the world (behind Dubai and Las Vegas) and the Flyer has 28 pods that each can carry 28 people. Our group were split over several capsules so we only had 8 per pod, which meant we had plenty of space to walk around and take photos / video of the amazing views. The wheel is located close to the Marina Bay area so you get some great views of the business district of the city. One revolution takes approximately 30 minutes, so plenty of time to take your pictures and enjoy the ride. It felt very safe. There are also capsules that offer dining / butler service...no idea how much that costs. The Flyer was a great way to get shots over the Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore skyline. Well worth doing. There's also a shop at the base of the wheel - we stopped there and picked up a magnet to take home.

Lots of fun and what a view!
We took the MRT here, get off at Promenade Station , orange or blue lines connect here.. easy walk to the Flyer from this station. We simply bought tickets here, no line ups. Took about 45 minutes to do the pre walking exhibit and the ride.. The wheel experience is a half hour and what an amazing view. Our 5 year old grand daughter loved it! Great way to see all of Singapore, the harbour, Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay . Well worth the trip here!

    Great Views
Great views from the 165m wheel. Very well presented exhibition prior to entering the capsule on the wheel itself. It was a little hot inside the capsule, with only us (a couple) and a family of 4. Possibly uncomfortable if your capsule is full.

    Views and perspectives
The flyer is a must when you visit Singapore, since it includes a history section and a good overview of the city. It’s reasonable to plan it for the start of your visit, so you get an idea what you want to do later. You get a really great view of the city and just tidbits starting from 1200s. Look out for photo taking pushers, though; I ended up falling into a tourist trap and getting a photo with a 50S$ price tag. So refuse any photo taken by someone else unless you collect that sort of memorabilia. Otherwise, it was worthwhile experience.
