It's a great place for friends or family. They will provide you with proper outfits but it was still freezing inside so come prepared. Penguins are so cute and you must see them and learn about them. You would want to stay for 2-3 hours to have the full fun experience and I advise to take the package of full day access so you can have a break and go outside then check in again later on. Plus, they have the best hot chocolate ever!! We got it for free and the girl added marshmallows and cream on top, it was the best sweetest hot chocolate Ive ever had.

This is an excellent tour to do in the summer of Dubai. Inside you even forget that you're making almost 40 out there. The structure is really impressive. We have been to the Gramado-RS ski resort but this one is much bigger. For those who will not ski the options are not many but if you want to enjoy a little of the snow is worth the visit. La vc will find two Tubing track (which are the boias you use to go down the track, has optional and individual boias and in double), a Giant Ball track, as the name says is a giant ball that you enter and go down the track inside it and a train stand (which is a rug you use to go down the track). For the minors there is a children’s train runway, a batting cart on ice and a playground. For those who will practice ski or snowboard the piste options are quite cool with piste going from beginner to advanced level and as the snow is artificial this is guarantee of an excellent quality of skiing.

SkiDubai is one place you can’t miss when visiting Dubai. Make sure to book for the penguin experience as it’s worth it to see, touch and interact with an amazing & friendly creature. The penguin trainers are such cool people and just add to the magic of a possible once in a lifetime opportunity, unfortunately you can’t use your mobile at all so budget for purchasing of the pictures they take. Boots, pants, jackets are provided but best to bring your own waterproof gloves as the ones provided get wet and aren’t comfortable when they do. Lockers are provided and security is very helpful and onhand if you have an issue with the locker. Lines for the attractions move quickly and the SkiChair isn’t for those who are afraid of heights as it goes quite high up. The small snacks cart is terrible and the warm drinks aren’t very tasty and could use an improvement. There is plenty of SkiDubai merchandise available to buy at reasonable prices.

Penguins are nature’s wonders, with their playful hops and charming waddle that bring joy to anyone watching. But getting close enough to see them in their comfort zone is no easy feat—unless you have a skilled mediator to bridge the gap. It had always been a dream of mine to not just see penguins up close but to touch them, feed them, and maybe, just maybe, share a hug with one someday. That dream came true for me and my little girls during our visit to the Penguin Encounter at Ski Dubai. We were incredibly lucky to meet Opi, an expert guide whose love for these adorable creatures was truly contagious. His immense knowledge, paired with his sharp humor, made the entire experience unforgettable. It was evident how much the penguins trusted and loved him, which added a whole new layer of wonder to our interaction. From learning fascinating facts to getting the rare opportunity to touch and even hug a penguin, this was an experience worth every penny. I highly recommend the Penguin Encounter at Ski Dubai to anyone—whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast or simply looking for a unique family outing. When we miss the snow, we love visiting this spot! Riding the cable car and spending time in the snow is always a joy. However, we can only stay for about 30 minutes because it gets super cold! It’s a fun escape that always brings a smile. ❄️🚡

For those who ski and like us have the Alps at their disposal, this is the equivalent of a "baby" slope, but experience the thrill of skiing in the desert snow since the prices are reasonable in the end considering that they give you all the equipment, it must be done. The temperature inside is really cold ... even the gloves are nice (and I'm a wake without even the cap in the mountains) And a fun way to spend a couple of hours which is the time I recommend. Two suggestions a) ask for the poles when you take the equipment, I do not know why they do not give them to you, I had not noticed until I was now inside the track and I did without but they are comfortable in the movements at the end of the track ... b) after taking two rides in the chairlift, I recommend using the ski lift, the chairlift is also used by people who do not ski and therefore stops often ... and wastes you a lot of time The snow is good and one side of the slope has a nice slope so much so that I saw us organize a slalom training ...

Great experience of snow and ice in Dubai, very well built and maintained. Prior experience is required if we have to go for skiing, otherwise they won’t allow for it. At least 5 to 6 hours will be required to experience all the rides

We visited in mid-December 2024 and booked a Snow Premium Package that included everything offered at Ski Dubai. Since we booked at the last minute, there were no adult snowboarding lessons available that day, but our kids had skiing lessons, which they loved. The penguin encounter was a highlight of the visit! The gloves were included in the package. We were not very well prepared and didn't dress warm enough. We asked for extra socks and double jackets, which were provided to us with no questions asked, which helped tremendously. It was a very pleasant experience, and I wish we had come earlier in the day to spend more time there.

My family of 4, 2 young kids opted to do the toboggan, snow chair, tubing and penguin experience. We were lent sallopettes and a ski jacket. Trousers absolutely fine, jacket thin on the elbows so easy to knock yourself when tobogganing (which I did) Boots fine. Would buy yourself some thick socks and a beanie hat. It gets cold when you’ve been in there 3+ hours. Tobogganing and tubing organised very well and we had fun. We also met the penguins which I think really let the whole experience down. We’d seen pictures of previous family’s hugging and touching the penguins so we expected the same. We had a few minutes with the penguins to touch their back which can’t be seen in the photos. We didn’t really get to interact at all let alone hug. You cannot take pictures at all throughout this experience. You are then conned into paying £40 for ONE picture. The ladies on the photo desk are beyond RUDE. Massively unhelpful.

The skiing is so fun and the atmosphere is so realistic, the slopes are so amusing and the staff are so nice. Very safe and very clean. The lockers come in really handy, and you don't even have to get your own equipment , they give it to you for free. Trust me it's worth it.
