    Enjoyed creating art here!
Very elegant and comprehensive, but too large and overwhelming. Huge empty galleries, lobbies and staircases with hardly any artwork. I loved that the elevator doors were painted with art to entice you. I didn't know where to start, out of all the buildings and exhibits on the plaza, but was glad to see an art workshop area where I could sit and paint an imaginary landscape while I decided. It's posted here. There's full time staff there and they even wash your brushes and clean up for you. The contemporary furniture exhibit was my favorite. The gift shop was gigantic too. There must be some serious art benefactors in Denver to bankroll all this!

    Don't Miss While in Denver!
This is a special museum with lots of interesting exhibits and a terrace with spectacular views of the city and mountains. The hands-on stations throughout give kids (and adults) a chance to interact and participate. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or most of a day! Great gift shop as well.

    A Wonderful Visit!
My parents and I spent the afternoon touring the Denver Art Museum and had a fantastic experience. From the architecture of the museum to the views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains, the space is inviting and inclusive. We were able to borrow a museum wheelchair for my mom to access the museum while my dad took advantage of the portable seating. The galleries featured extensively artwork of native and local artists while adding to a more traditional collection. I appreciated the care that went into curating the exhibits too. My mom especially enjoyed the textiles. You can definitely spend an afternoon, an entire day, or days exploring all that the museum has to offer. I know I will be back during my next adventure in Denver to take in even more!

    2nd time in Denver
Traveled to Denver on business for the second time in two months. Stayed at the hotel connected to this Museum. I have never been a huge fan of travel, however places like this are so much fun. I will definitely be coming back.

Highly recommended, good time, good family atmosphere for educational purposes, and clean!
Such a cool place, we did the AUDIO portion as well as the multi level portion. We were confused on pricing as the non resident shows $22 but the non resident with audio must be $27? Not a big deal, but we did buy online so when we went in it was confusing and didn't ask to get clarification. But when we went upstairs we did see the sign showing this tour wasn't part of the regular tickets. So it may be that. Overall we had a blast, too many photos to post, stayed for 3 hours. And we parked on the street which probably saved us money on having to use a parking garage as it was only a one block walk. Establishment was clean, well kept, Not all of the people standing to watch over the areas were too friendly as it seemed more like a chore to stand there. But it didn't deter us from having a good time, Lots to see, the audio exhibit area was cool as it was a refreshing upgrade to have that on tour. Each level seemed to have endless art and so on. It was a very nice portion of our trip. We flew into Denver, ate, then went to the museum to spend some time.

One of the best art museums I've been to!
What a great museum this is. I went on a Tuesday afternoon. It is the one day a week the museum stays open late (until 8PM). The museum encompasses 2 large connected buildings. One has 7 floors, the other 4. The displays on every floor are terrific. I particularly enjoyed the indigenous arrists' display. There are single works by some of the masters and sections of contemporary artists as well. So many nooks and cranies house a variety of works in many different media.

Denver Art Museum has a wide range of Native American art and it also contains the only major Asian art collection in the Rocky Mountains. You should plan some time to explore this fantastic museum. We spent well over 3 hours here and feel we barely covered the whole museum. Every gallery is an absolute gem. The different exhibits are well done, the labels are informative, and the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful & knowledgable.

    Cool Experience
Decided to use one of our city pass attractions on this one. It is a nice Museum. Nice to see some interactive activities for the kids and a nice collection of Monet. On the flip side, they need better signage on where the actual entrance is. Where we thought was an entrance was described as something else, so we kept wandering trying to find main building.

    A MUST SEE in Denver
Spectacular museum! Thousands of art pieces across two building and 8 floors. What an experience! I spent 4 hours inside and could have done more, but my legs/feet gave out and I still had to walk back to the hotel. Excellent collection of western work, but that's not all they have to offer. The early Latin American floor is really informative. Thousands of relics from Aztec, Olmec, Inca and Mayan culture along with other tribal and cultural interests. Don't miss this museum if in Denver. Totally worth the price of admission.

    Biophilia "Nature Reimagined" Exhibit
Visited the Biophilia "Nature Reimagined" at Denver Art Museum. The exhibit explores the transformative role of contemporary architects, artists, and designers play connecting us to the natural world. Fantastic exhibit well worth your time to visit. One of the features is the new Populus Hotel just down the street from the museum. The exterior of the hotel is almost complete with one of the last exterior panels being placed today.
