Hotels near Fenway Park
Hallowed ground to baseball fans, this century-old ballpark is the home field of the Boston Red Sox. Fans often flock to Fenway Park to catch a game over beer and hot dogs—the game season typically runs from April through October. You might want to stay till at least the eighth inning to sing “Sweet Caroline” with the crowd. The stadium is also home to the iconic Green Monster wall, a 37-foot-tall left-field wall. Apart from games, you can join a year-round guided tour of the stadium to learn about the history of the sport and the team, as well as get a behind-the-scenes peek into the locker room. – Tripadvisor

- MrFinoWaldorf, Maryland83 contributionsYankees - Red Sox Best Rivalry in SportsWent to my first Red Sox game at Fenway Park. It exceeded my expectations. I'm a Yankees fan and with both teams in last place I didn't expect the crowd to be so energetic, that made it alot more entertaining. I'd recommend a visit, it holds a lot of history and they've done a great job keeping it in pristine conditionVisited September 2023Travelled soloWritten 10 October 2023
- Georgia M14 contributionsDon’t miss the Green MonsterLisa was a wonderful tour guide. I’m not a big sports fan but visit as many ballparks with my husband. The green monster ranks at the top. Wish I could’ve seen a game but the Red Sox didn’t make the playoffs. A definite must seeVisited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 October 2023
- ilymomBirmingham, Alabama209 contributionsGreat tour!We did the Fenway Park tour and so glad we did. My husband had been to a few games but this was my first visit to Boston. I just wanted a photo in front of the stadium but my husband wanted to do the tour. The tour was excellent. Because of HISTORY. LOL!Visited November 2023Written 16 November 2023
- KentwoolgarBrighton, United Kingdom268 contributionsBit of sporting HistoryNipped I’m for this tour for something to do in a pretty boring city. Turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. Our tour guide, Bob, cracking bloke and really enthusiastic about a sport, slightly less rubbish than cricket, was great with us Brits who know nothing about the game. Not really a lover of history but loved every second of this tour. Saved our trip really. I’d be surprised if any sports fan didn’t like thisVisited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 December 2023
- LAFFSTOPMission Viejo, California223 contributionsIs my favorite american league teamLiving history in a ballpark format, I took the behind the scene tour as well. Which I enjoyed as much as seen my Hometown. Saint louis cardinals comma I sat on the green monster In my full cardinal regalia and the boston fans could not have been more hospitable .. That may have something to do with one of them pointed out that they've beat the cardinals in the World Series. The last two times comma but the boston fans were wonderful and the ballpark is breast takingVisited July 2023Travelled soloWritten 10 January 2024
- Mark PSwampscott, Massachusetts2,517 contributionsGreat BallparkThis is an iconic ballpark and one that really must be visited. The setting is unique and historic. There are many negatives: Prices are ridiculously high, the aisles and corridors are narrow, and leg room is tough to find in the grand stand. Having said all of that, this is a place that even casual fans should visit at least once, even though the Red Sox are a mediocre team.Visited June 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 2 June 2024
- Armando ASteamboat Springs, Colorado30 contributionsAnother Boston memorable experience!First visit to Fenway Park and we were not disappointed in the slightest! Incredible atmosphere, great fans, great seat and the food wasn’t bad. We sat about 20 rows up from first base side and paid a very reasonable price for them. Each vendor we encountered couldn’t have been friendlier. The feeling of the history of Fenway was at times overwhelming!Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 June 2024
- cjyapGriswold, Connecticut915 contributionsHad funWent to a concert at Fenway. Overall great experience. For this concert I got some of the cheaper seats, which was great because my seats were covered. The VIP seats were in the infield, which of course is great for being close up to the stage and performers, BUT if it is raining, there is NO cover. There were times it was pouring. Our concert was delayed due to threat of lightning, and all spectators not in a covered area were told to go inside. When the threat was over and the concert started, there were some adjustments in the show, fewer bands performed. We were updated while we waited. Fun, fun atmosphere.Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 June 2024
- mmflattKnoxville, Tennessee86 contributionsLove the park!We had so much fun! First of all - I'm not a Boston fan. But we had such a great time at the park. The game was fun...the accommodations were top notch! Fortunately we were under cover as it was a warm day. Our view was slightly blocked by a pole but it wasn't too obtrusive. Something has to hold up the upper deck! The staff was friendly as were the other guests. It's definitely a great place to go even if you're not a fan.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 July 2024
- Patrice AGrosse Pointe Park, Michigan120 contributionsA New Red Socks FanThe ballpark may be one of the oldest, but it's definitely a good time. There are very few obstructed seats in the stadium. There are helpful guides throughout the stadium who were friendly and could direct you to where you needed to go. The food lines seemed inefficient; lines of people grabbing food and then waiting to check out at a single cashier did not seem like the best way to manage crowds. The baseball was fun. The crowds were into the game. And, we got a stamp from our MLB passport book. Can't wait to come back.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 12 July 2024
