Hi Brett, thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit with us here at Hawkstone Hall. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our lunch menu and were able to experience the private use of the Cave. I am sorry we were unable to accomodate you in the Saloon restaurant, our guests that book a Dinner Bed & Breakfast stay are allocated a table on booking, although on a first come first served basis, as we are unable to seat everyone. As you had booked Bed & Breakfast and decided to join us for dinner later, on this occasion we were unable to seat you in the Saloon as all tables had been booked for the evening. I am sorry if this was not communicated to you correctly. Our Hills Restaurant is a more casual dining experience with the same standard of food and service and that 'To die for Peppercorn Sauce' has a lot of wonderful comments. I am surprised to hear your comment regarding the thin walls as this is not a comment I have come across from any feedback received, unfortunately the structure of the wall is not something that I have control over, although had neighbouring guests disturbed you we would have had no hesitation in asking for the noise level to be reduced had we been asked. Thank you for recommending us and I really do hope you will visit us again.
