We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience whilst visiting the Cove OVER A YEAR AGO and only now decide to write a review about this location and no others, you say you were issued a charge for "no good reason" it is impossible for a charge to be issued unless you had breached the terms and conditions of the car park as the attendant would have had no photographic evidence to back up the charge issued, maybe in your eyes it was for no good reason? maybe you dont see parking over two bays or not buying a ticket like everyone else as a good enough reason to be issued a charge? with the lack of information you provide its impossible to for us to review the case and comment on it directly. You say the attendant was in an un-marked car do you have a photograph of this unmarked vehicle? could you post the picture as you have done with the letter from DVLA? Searchlight Security & Parking Solutions are a member of the BPA and undergo regular audits and inspections from the BPA with no issues, all attendants are in uniform with I.D badges and have identification on there vehicles. Are you trying to say had you noticed the attendant you would have purchased a ticket or parked correctly? You have supplied a copy of a letter supposedly from DVLA stating that "Searchlight Security and Parking of Cornwall" have not requested any keeper details, that's because the parking enforcement company is "Searchlight Security & Parking Solutions" as is clearly displayed on signs and all charges issued, I would suggest you searched for the wrong company, we also use third party debt recovery companies to recover unpaid charges in line with schedule 4 of the protection of freedoms act. All we ask when using any of our parking facilities, as with all parking facilities, is that you follow the terms and conditions as clearly stated on the notice boards, you purchase a ticket and clearly display it in your vehicle for the attendant to see, before going for a walk around. we ask that you park your vehicle with consideration for other car park users, withing the marked bays, return before your ticket expires and either top up the ticket or vacate the car park and allow others to use the space. Lamorna cove has thousands of satisfied visitors a year, its a shame that its mostly the ones that have been issued charges that take the time to post reviews on here.
