We are a family of four and Disney is our happiest happy place but if you want do all the must-dos (and why wouldn’t you?), it can be stupidly exhausting. Which is why where you rest your head - and weary feet - is so important and why we always choose a Walt Disney Resort

There’s so much to see and do at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and your review wonderfully highlights some of my favorites. While all of our Resorts on property offer services such as complimentary transportation and access to Extra Magic Hours, I agree with you—this Resort truly shines. The colorful Mardi Gras theme and authentic New Orleans architecture really evoke the spirit of the Big Easy. Personally, the pool area is what always beckons me back to the bayou. When I visit with my family, I also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere poolside as my children enjoy the water features, including the giant sea serpent (affectionately known as Scales.) It delights me that you and your family could enjoy these offerings along with some of our scheduled activities hosted by our Recreation team, in addition to your thrilling Theme Park adventures. In keeping with the laid-back spirit here, I appreciate your tip on visiting the food court outside of the peak times. Additionally, I’m happy you took advantage of being so close to Disney Springs. The Sassagoula River Cruise is a fun and convenient way to get around. Our jolly captains really add a special touch of magic to the leisurely rides. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review. I sincerely hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back to the Big Easy again soon! Adam Disney Social Reviews
