Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.
As soon as I walked to the entrance I instantly felt the beauty and calm of this place. Its beautiful pathways allows you to enjoy it. I went early in the morning which was great, not that many people around. It is similar to the high line in N.Y. with a Parisian twist.
"Small street with bars and restaurants and lots of people in evenings"

Went there just incidentally. I was surprised by amounts of people present. The bars and restaurants were quite occupied and many of the visitors were just staying and chatting in the street. I think that this is a good place if you are looking for night life and some adventure.
As an American-trained ballet dancer, I was a little hesitant to try ballet in France because I knew the styles were so different. At Studio Harmonic I was welcomed by a variety of classical teachers and learned a lot from them. The ambiance is warm and familial, a lovely place to train and learn!

"Delicious and Friendly"

I would put the prices in the medium bracket rather than medium to low, but you do not feel cheated as the food is exceptional. I had a slightly spiced prawn ravioli starter that was sublime. Great menu, great food, good wine selection and friendly staff. One of my best meals in Paris and I visit Paris once a month!
This bistro offers an incredible value. Main courses is about 20E, but they are outstanding. The deserts as well. If you eat here, you must have dessert! You can also see that the waiter and the two chefs have a love for the food they are creating. This bistro is so small that you are just feets away from the...
The Hotel Fabric was a delight. The accommodations were excellent and exactly what we were looking for. All the staff was pleasant and polite, especially the women working the front desk. We needed to change our plans one day due to the weather and we asked for suggestions. She suggested an alternate location, gave us directions and it ended up...
A great place! Kind staff, good location, good breakfast, very comfortable beddings. Only minus is the small double room where it gets difficult to have two suitcases. But for a few days it works fine. Very clean and beautiful.
I would recommend this hotel!
clean, good size for the bed, nice receptionist, good facilities, reasonable price for Paris, quiet street, a lot of restaurants around
the IC was on and impossible to stop it, so it was a bit cold, no cutleries or anything useful for you eat in the room.
Incredible staff especially Fabian (loved his energy, so funny), Raheem (very kind), Frankie, and "H" (can't pronounce her pretty name). made our stay in Paris even more delightful, they were extremely helpful. efficient and kind.
They let us check in early as we arrived 2 hours early before check-in..Awesome!! as we were exhausted after a long flight from the U.S....
We recently visited Paris for the first time and stayed at Le General Hotel.
Even before we arrived the customer service was fantastic. Several emails were received from Reception to see if we had any special requirements.
I had requested a room with balcony and that is exactly what we got.
The room was a good size and clean.
