Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
I'm big on hitting art studios and galleries here at home. I've never seen anything like this place. None of the artists spoke or acknowledged us as we came through except one, which is fine. To say the place is unique is an understatement. VERY cool space and a variety of art styles, paint based, to see.
"A pleasant, off the beaten path attraction at Les Halles"

Spent a pleasant hour inside Saint-Eustache. Easy access through Les Halles metro station. Although the church has suffered from the ravages of times, it’s very encouraging that restoration efforts are under way and with fantastic results. Nice pipe organ, very few people inside.
Church is located across the street from the Louvre and just a block away from a metro 1 line stop. Beautiful stain glass work both above the main alter and above each chapel on each side of the central section or nave. The exterior is very unassuming. Church was completed in the 15th century. The level of skill to build...

This tower is on the horizon and visible from much of the city. The church was torn down during Haussmann's redevelopment in the 19th Century, but the old tower lives on, now in the center of a small square.
You have to eat at Mumi, it is absolutely divine! Dont miss this gem of a restaurant when your in Paris - its worth it!
I am back home now and I am still dreaming of the lunch and dinner we had at Mumi! Its unforgettable.....
Thibault is the owner and he is a wonderful host! We had such fun!...
We had some wonderful macaroons at this fabulous café in Paris. The macaroons served at Monsieur Benjamin were first class and tasted rather divine to say the least. The coffees were also of a very good quality and the service was nice and friendly. Overall a vert relaxing afternoon experience at this rather lovely café.
The hamburger was really great, so were the fries. I didn't like the beer but it was from paris so maybe it's normal (?). 2 burgers (one with extra steak) a large beer and a coke (fries included) -> 33 €

My friend and I were visiting Paris and stumbled upon this gem. The first night we went we were the only people in there who weren’t French which set a nice positive tone.
We shared the octopus which was served as cold entree. It was delicious and well balanced. We each had the market fish which was so tender it...
"Excellent experience....a great dining choice in the heart of Paris"

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a unique food experience within walking distance of the Île de la Cité. Our small group was taken care of by Fanny and Ines, and they made this a great experience. They were very accommodating to our "not-so-great" French language skills, and they even threw in some English humor...
Good things really do come in small packages! This gem doesn’t have many rooms but they are bright and spacious and provide a true French experience. The location is fabulous - many sights are easily walkable from here and both the metro and RER (direct to Charles de Gaulle airport) are steps away. Breakfast was delicious with the freshest breads...
This was our first visit to Paris, and the room was just what we hoped for. The location was perfect for being in the heart of Paris, and the decor really set the theme. So many sites are in walking distance. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was great.
The hotel location is fantastic. Although the rooms were too small but very clean. the breakfast variety was limited and the location of the breakfast area is in a Basement. I highly recommend this hotel you will enjoy shopping and restaurants near by.
The hotel was perfect for our weekend. Booked 2 rooms. Both very quiet, attractive and clean. Very comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom which was beautifully cleaned each day. We loved the decor of the hotel.
Staff extremely helpful in solving an electrical problem in fact, staff were wonderfully helpful whenever possible.
Breakfast selection was varied and plentiful & eating in the...
We had the pleasure staying at this hotel a few weeks ago. The hotel is small and the staff is great...really can’t ask for much more. The sitting room past the lobby is wonderful. The lift is a bit of a chai since it is quite small but it gets the job done. The locals also great...just between the Louve...
