Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
The Philharmonic is absolutely amazing, the design and decoration of the building is gorgeous, and needless to say the music was top. Definitely recommend going if you're a music lover, this is the place to be.
Unfortunately everytime we tried to go in and visit this church it was closed. From the outside it look amazing and impressive. Would have loved to go inside.
Next by the church theres a Christmas Market to be enjoyed in December
We visited the Zoo soon after dropping off our bags at our apartment. The Zoo claims to have the largest variety of species in the World. We certainly saw a large number of animals ranging from Pandas to Polar bears plus many many big cats, the only downside to the zoo is the way some of the outdoor animals are...
Schlossgarten is truly the definition of a German restaurant. All of the food was phenomenal and fresh from the kitchen. The environment is cozy and very authentic. Of our short stay in Berlin we are here twice because we enjoyed it so much.
The food was very tasty. It was the first time we ate vietnamese food and we really liked it. The food was good and the prices were ok. The restaurant is very cozy and the stuff extreamly friendly and helpful. We strongly recomend it!!!
We went as part of a weekend stay in Berlin, on the recommendation of our daughter Emma and we are so glad we did. Each of us tried a different main course and they were all axcellent and of very generous portion. I tried the pork knuckle and it was huge and very tasty. We could only manage one pudding...

I am really satisfied about my stay in the Mandala hotel. The hotel staff was really nice. Besides, everything was clean and of good quality. In conclusion, I would definetely recommend this hotel to other people.
Hotel Q has some of the best staff we have ever encountered which makes for an excellent stay. Mike (events manager) was often around checking in which we really appreciated and would like to pass on our sincere thanks, he's truly a great asset to Hotel Q.
The room itself was lovely, modern design which was fine by us.
Better than expected, cool casual hotel, with an excellent location. At your doorstep (literally) is some unique 'open-mall style' shopping with German brands, restaurants, coffee shops, cafe's - pretty much everything you need. The subway and train is a close walk, which gets you anywhere. The hotel has a quirky laid-back way about it, but still stylish. The Monkey Bar...
