North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque façades, courtyards and churches. Take 45 minutes for a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse, Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and Schönlaterngasse. This quarter is packed with stories and legends that will enrich your Vienna experience.
You are given headphones to listen to the places of interest. We only jumped on because it was starting to rain and we wanted to do the circle tour , but couldn't make head nor tail of the tram system. I think it requires you getting off one tram onto another halfway However for E9 I thought it was very...
This is a very distinguished research institution and it resides in a beautiful building next to the Universitatskirche.
The building itself has 2 fountains (one on each end) and provides a beautiful photo-op of both itself and the nearby church.

On a recent visit to Vienna, we were lucky enough to get a booking in this restaurant. The ambience and decor is beautiful, kind of French vintage/country style chic. So, first, the interior is gorgeous, then the food is outstanding and the wine fabulous. Very special place. Very modern, cleverly designed dishes. Well worth the effort to come here.
Very confortable and original hotel with plenty of details. Excellent breakfast and warm atmosphere.Very nice staff . I wish I had more days in Viena in places like this ¡¡ I´m looking forward to discover the Paris one.
Well located. Large and quiet room.
Personnel very kind and helpful.
From the hotel all the interesting place are within 10 mn walk.
Hotel to recommand with a very good ratio quality/price.
Better go on the hotel website for booking.
Stayed only a night in a medium room. It was spacious enough. Clean and comfortable. The building is historical. I love the elevator and the stairs. The location is very central. Easy to find shops, restaurants, public transportations. Carpark for €20/day. Btw, an authentic Austrian restaurant is located right beside the hotel. And the food is great! We had lunch...
The hotel was very nice. Our room for two was TINY but we really didn't need much more so it was plenty comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast, if not included in your stay, was pretty much a rip off. The cost vs quality wasn't even close.
The location is excellent. Just a 7-10 min walk...
Got hooked up via Priceline and turned out to be an excellent referral. Comfortable and quiet within walking distance to St. Stephen’s and the Ringstrasse, Freud Museum, Holocaust Memorial.
Service was excellent. They were well-prepared to have you leave your luggage after check-out in order for you to make your train later in the day.
