The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
This museum is really only for avid fans of The Third Man or those curious to learn more. Combined with seeing the film at the Burgkino, doing the Third Man Tour and seeing the museum it makes a great day of entertainment. If you haven't seen the film - WHY NOT? It is an absolute classic and shows Vienna's state...
Karlskirche - so nice church in Vienna! :)) I always like to visit various interesting places, churches, cathedrals .. Karlskirche is one of the most beautiful! :)) The church was the first monument I visited in Vienna. :))
We kept this place (and others further away from the city centre) back for our second full day in Vienna.
The building is of some interest in its own right, both architecturally and historically, and then there are the exhibits, with the Klimt frieze being the star attraction.
Sums up the history of Vienna from its beginnings to almost the present day with a neet exhibition on Vienna's music scene. Great models of the city as it was in medieval times with details on the Turkish siege, the growth and development of the city and its art scene
Okay! This place is so good! We’re study abroad students visiting Vienna for the weekend and this was the best food we’ve have by far! The “El Chapo Burger” was unforgettable with the guacamole, salsa, and bacon. So amazing. Definitely down to clown with this restaurant again 10/10 would recommend!

So, what more to add to the title? Best food we ate in Vienna.
The waitress was welcoming, seated us at a table without reservation and produced menus and drinks speedily. The menu is good (not just Wiener Schnitzel!), the food was delicious and the prices very reasonable, the wine also. The atmosphere is very pleasant and we didn't feel...
All the people at this hotel, were amazing. It was my husbands 60th and they made arrangements, and made the day very special. Thank you for all you did.
The bar is a perfect meeting spot, the breakfast was fantastic, and our room was absolutely perfect. We upgraded to a romantic room, and was worth it.
We had a 3 night stay at this fantastic find and would definitely return again. Location was perfect and the staff/owners were so welcoming, and recommended some great restaurants to eat at.
Breakfast is a must & rooms were a good size.
A well placed hotel, very close to a Tram stop, (62 and 1 routes).
My partner and I took my Aunt, (84 years old, never flown, never been abroad), and we were all treated very well. Breakfast was very good, but the service at evening meal was a bit severe!
It should be noted that there are several steps between...
Stayed here in October and was very convenient to both the main train station 5 min walk) and the inner circle area (10 min walk). We mostly took the underground metro which was easy to navigate from the hotel's location, you can easily transfer to the line you need and see all the sights around the city. While the hotel...
We stayed at Das Triest for our short layover in Vienna. It's conveniently located near the Karlsplatz station and within walking distance of the Opera, the Hofburg Palace and St. Stephen's Cathedral.
The lobby and the common areas had a modern layout and the furnishings were simple but classy. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff welcoming.
