An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
Hands down the best massage place in Sydney. The booking was easily done with no hassle. I had a body scrub & oil massage with Ai. She was very prefessional & courteous. My partner had a remedial massage from Sa, the owner who was extremely professional & highly skilled. We left rejuvenated!!!
Will definitely book in again next week :)
Had a 30min Stress Relief massage at the Glebe branch, and it was exactly what I needed! Treatment was wonderful, ambiance was peaceful and my massage therapist was very professional and welcoming.
Definitely recommend and I will be going back here for another treatment.
As a licensed massage therapist who operates a private practice in New York City, I apply the highest standards when I myself receive a massage.
Top massage therapists know an amazing massage is not just about techniques, there is much more to it than that. Gerald delivered his AMAZING massage with quality and intuitive touch: he was fully present, and...
This comfortably proportioned restaurant has a pleasant outlook on the leafy street and general comings and goings at the quieter end of Glebe Point Rd. Visiting on a chilly Spring night for dinner we opted to sit inside but noted there is a front deck with heaters and clear plastic blinds that would serve the area well. I imagine it...
Would highly recommend Bombay Street Kitchen - the food is absolutely delicious! Very friendly and personal service, and there are lots of options for people with different preferences or any allergies. Very authentic, and really nicely set up with fairy lights at night. Great for a dinner with friends, family, or as a couple. Will be back soon!
This restaurant is a gem. Not only is the menu great, the service and ambience is perfect for a lovely Saturday night dinner. Clean and fresh flavours as a result of an innovative and contemporary menu, ensure a great meal. Try it you won’t regret it!
Cozy Best Western on the edge of downtown Sydney. If your trying to save money by not staying in downtown Sydney this is a great place. Step right outside the door and jump on the bus for a short ride to Central Station, or a short 10 minute walk if that to the light rail station.Across the street you have...
My wife was in Sydney for a conference. she was in Airbnb for 4 days, which she hated. On the last day, she moved to this hotel and liked it. She was able to walk to places and had privacy. And the price was very reasonable.
Perfect work / social life balance
Friendly informant staff
Mesmerising rooftop scenery
Spacious tidy rooms
Bar and off license right across the road ...
