An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
Don't miss this excellent collection of Aboriginal Art from all over Australia. In a two-level cottage on a quiet Bondi street, you can explore authentic artifacts in all price ranges.
The knowledgeable attendant explained about each artist of pieces that interested myself, my son and his wife. They chose some serious works to add to their collection, while I was...
I have always wanted to learn how to swim in the ocean. I am a confident pool swimmer but am very anxious about the surf despite growing up in Sydney. After reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor I contacted Oceanfit and have undertaken a series of private lessons with Lia. On the first lesson she immediately put me at...
We saw Rogue One last night. Although it rained a little and blew a hooley for the second half of the film we had a great evening.
Prompt and friendly email response when I could not find my ticket details. Ladies on site at box office swamped the one lounger I had mistakenly booked rather than two for 2 deck...
For a couple's massage, the service was good, although it doesn't justify the high price compared to similar places.
Visited due to the high rating to avoid disappointment, however, it wasn't that good, and the masseuse doesn't differentiate between relaxing and painful massage!!
The privacy is very edgy with beds are very close and separated by curtains only
We had the 7 course menu. The courses were all taster size which is unusual in Oz but great for us Pom’s! Th flavour combinations exploded in the mouth and the texture mixes were good.
Ourservice was exemplary. Good explanations, understanding substitutions for our pregnant companion.
Blancha is certainly a must visit for 5* food and service in a pleasant...
Love it every time we stay. Perfect location surrounded by restaurants and close to the beach and lovely rooms. Great lobby and outdoor area for relaxing! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Chose the QT Bondi having stayed in the city centre last year
The hotel is uber Cool. The suites are a great size, large rooms, great sitting area, kitchen facilities, washing machine. Woolies on the ground flood. Over the street from Bondi Beach and lots of great bars and restaurants on the doorstep.
Downsides are the beds are far too...
The room was small and basic but for what we needed for our short stay it was perfect. The staff were friendly and we able to grant us an early check in when we requested it. Great location too- right across the road from Bondi Beach
short menu freshly cooked, so be prepared to wait if its really busy. try to have lunch early so sun is on the front balcony, with best views of the beach. good service. beer selection is good. bit of a party plsce if last sunday lunchtime is anything to go by but then it was a bank holiday
We visited Beach Rd hotel bistro on a very hot Sunday for a late lunch and a cool drink. The staff were attentive, the food good and the air conditioning and cool drinks wonderful. It was shaping up to be a lovely afternoon, but then the music started. It was impossible to talk. I did speak to a staff member,...
