A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.

A resident brought us here in his car. There was a bus stop for city buses from and to Sydney downtown. It took a while to get there using a car. I guess it would take much longer using city bus.
Good view of the Sydney skyline. There is a visitor centre nearby with picnic tables, running...
If you have a love for history then this is well worth the visit and a stay overnight. The Ghost tour is an added thrill or just take in part of Sydney's Tragic but what was required history to keep the colony and Sydney safe after the turn of the century. You are able to book accommodation overnight in buildings...
"Our one-stop-shop for booking activities in Sydney/Manly area."

These folks were great. We stopped in on our first morning in Manly and got the complete run-down on local activities, ferry schedules, restaurants and more. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us several options. We ended up returning twice more to book our Whale Watching tour and Blue Mountain Tour. (Both were spectacular BTW).
Manly has many things to offer but if its a rainy day on your visit then the Manly Art Gallery is a perfect place for you to see and learn more about Manly. Once you've arrived at Manly Wharf it's a short walk down Little Manly Beach to your left. Hop into the Hello Manly Information Centre for more information...
Service is always very good, staff are always overseas visitors from South America or Europe; coffee is good price at $3.5 small cuo, soecialty brad from Netherlands baked on site, preservative free beer.
Boss man Tomas frtom Germany is very friendly so is his missus Leisel.
Having read about this Restaurant we went out of our way to find it & we were thrilled with the menu and the quality of the food was excellent wonderful tapas, each dish being almost better than the one before.
Would definitely recommend.

I have been here several times over the past year and have never been disappointed. The service exceeds expectations every time. The coffee is made to perfection and the food is great and served in perfect portion sizes.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place is suitable for business meetings or catching up with friends.
Deserves 6 stars.
Exotic Swedish food offerings, both savoury and sweet, that are all brilliant.
Kitchen is really efficient, and the place has a great vibe.
Can get very busy, so you might sometimes have a short wait for a seat. But it’s worth it.
Lovely people too.
Worth going out of your way.
Located at the beach and near the corso, this place has spotless huge rooms/ apartments and very friendly staff. Yet, as it is close to a major road, there might be some noise, which is still acceptable. But as most of Manly is pretty busy, this is a general issue, if you are a bit sensible.
Q-Station is a peaceful step back in time just a 17 minute ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sydney. A fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a place with a rich and fascinating history whilst living in the beautiful landscape of Sydney Harbour National Park. Stay the weekend and enjoy the hospitality of the friendly Q...
We had a week’s vacation here and absolutely loved our stay. The positives are close to Manly Ferries, close to all the good restaurants, walk to Shelley Beach and right in front of the beach. The personnel are friendly and willing to help at all times. Good security. We had a studio or normal hotel room. It is decent size...
Room was average size, typical Novotel style, though clean and quiet. The staff were really helpful, I was able to change my room type at the last minute at a considerable rate.
The hotel is directly on the beach and great access to amazing restaurants and all Manly has to offer.

Very clean room, nicely refurbished, good size bedroom with a king and single beds, kitchenette but no toaster only sandwich maker, view to beach, extra rate, excellent.
Only let down is the tiny shower/ toilet "bathroom, both which share the same floor space with a flimsy shower curtain. Floor does get wet. Only basin in this room is micro small...
