A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
They guys at Manly SDX are fantastic. The dive is so amazing and is not frightening. Loved the sharks ...they are just so calm as are the staff who ensure your personal safety and ensure your enjoyment in a small dive team. Do it. Not once was i afraid. I had trouble with adapting to regulator breathing and the team...
"Good bush walk through an interesting area near Manly Beach"

There is an interesting walk through the Sanctuary that starts at Manly Beach and takes you to the Fairfax Lookouts on North Head where you will get a great view of the expanse of Sydney Harbour and the distant skyline of Sydney city. It isn't a very long or challenging walk; obviously it depends on how fast you walk but...
A former quarantine station now upgraded to a luxury hotel, this is a fun experience with fantastic views of Sidney harbor! Great on site restaurant and a very helpful staff. Need to take a ferry to access Manly or Sidney, but it's easy and fun to do!
Visited last month with my wife and toddler. The main tank has some beautiful sting rays, sharks and turtles to see. Their is also a number of other interesting tanks and the chance to dive with sharks! A little kids play area helps keep the monsters under control. A shame it is closing at the end of the year.
We may not have chosen the best place for a romantic dinner as this was quite a noisy restaurant but we were impressed with the very delicious food. We had the dips for starters and we they kindly made us GF rice bread to go with it and it was very good! Our duck rolls and calamari entrees were totally...
Dropped into a much loved restaurant for a cocktail on the way home - as always service and staff amazing ! Didn't eat tonight but while there found out they had a great vegetarian menu not found online - as my daughter now vegetarian these things need to be considered 😀Can't wait to eat there and check out vegetarian options...

A favourite of ours, amazing views right on the beach, excellent menu with a wide variety of food and wines, with the sea breeze, views and great service I can;t recommend The Pantry enough if you like a nice meal right on Sydney's greatest beach.
Visited the venue twice whilst staying in Manly. First time, mainly for beer ( loved the Best Bitter and IPA) but tried a couple of appetisers - the sweet corn & chestnut fritters were amazing, as was the Vietnamese pork bun.
Second visit, we had a full meal, a few of the appetisers, same as above but also seared Brussel...
30+ degree day in Sydney, I felt like a light lunch.
Enjoyed a refreshing elderflower mocktail and sill sandwich.
The herring in the sandwich was not overbearing and was complemented with a well seasoned sour cream. The pumpernickel bread was so tasty.
Fika also provides for sale a selection of Scandinavian treats , ciders , beers and cinnamon buns.
Great location, close to everything, some fabulous food to be found close by, Comfy bed, swivel TV was a bonus but maybe an additional armchair could be handy if you don't want to sit right next to your partner.
What a treat this was! 2 night stay in a deluxe queen room, including breakfast. Beautiful views across the harbour from many vantage points on the property. Rooms were small but well equipped, to be expected after refurbishment of an old quarantine station. Tours of the station happen every morning at 11am, and they are very informative and interesting. Dinner...
Location: Can’t fault this location. On the main Manly strip, beachfront, close to everything including a short walk to the Manly Ferry terminal
Rooms: Clean, spacious, good service and modern
Breakfast: Typical Novotel breakfast spread.
Great location with shops, restaurants and transport close at hand. Our room in the South Tower had a partial sea view and had recently undergone a soft refurbishment. It looked fresh and clean. Bedding was extra comfy and the amenities were luxurious. I seriously would have liked to have taken the shower home and it was fabulous!!! Would recommend this...
Had 4 nights here recently. Very impressed, room had one window looking out to sea, other window faced street so coild see what was happening. Pool good, also very good access to beach. Only small negative is our bathroom was very tiny. But that's not a major issue, all in all very impressed :)
