Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
Near the Holiday Inn and Jewelry Trade Center I had often passed in a taxi but wanted to see it up close. Unfortunately you can’t take pictures inside this amazingly decorated temple. You can walk in and make an offering if you want. The detail is so colourful.
"A restaurant with a dedicated team in serving you"

Yes, the name Latest Recipe says it all! The Mediterranean and local fusion cooking are really mouth watering. The foods are served with the assurance of its freshness. The restaurant staff is a great asset to the hotel and is a crowd puller.
The food, presentation, and service here was exceptional! We had the spicy pomelo salad and the chef’s special duck dish and the vegetable red curry. The duck dish was the best my husband and I have ever tasted. And the red curry was incredible! I highly recommend this restaurant. It wasn’t over priced at all! And you get a dinner...
To celebrate a friend’s birthday (and recovery from a quadruple bypass operation) two of us splurged on lunch at Le Normandie. It was splendid beyond imagination. River view table, soothing décor, superb and intelligent service, and amazing food, especially one amuse bouche of a couple of oysters in a single shell lathered with wasabi mustard and crème fraiche. The three-course...
The food was great. The assistant manager, Chonthicha, was very helpful. She ensured I was comfortable, she explained all food options at great detailed. She ensured that I was taking care of.
The fresh juice bad was fantastic. Nita, the bar tender, spoke very good English and was very nice and introduced me a variety of new juices all delicious!...
Bonita is neatly tucked inside an obscure neighborhood and hard to just stumble-upon. It was great one of the regulars invited me to meet there. Vegan food is prepared fresh. it's a quaint family-owned cafe with mostly runners as regulars. Atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious. Great place for me-time to chill or interact with the cafe denizens.

This is first time stay with this brand new Marriott.
Everything is perfect!!!
I can feel the warm welcome since I stepped in the hotel.
My husband is platinum and I’m gold, we got the lounge access. The staffs at the M club are very friendly, polite and very helpful.
The only one downside of this hotel is the location...
Drove to Bangkok for the Porsche 70th Anniversary celebration. Mandarin Oriental was the official hotel and they had done a splendid job. From reserved carpark lots (and allowing our cars to park as far apart as we prefer), to our rooms ready for us when we arrive way before the check-in time, to the bulter service and of course the...
We stayed for 3 nights, good location and fantastic service by all staff. Speedy check-in and checkout. Special mention to Nail and Fah at the sports bar, the housekeeping lady who took care of my room, the Spa receptionist and my therapist (so sorry I cant remember the names).

In July 2018, I checked out the uber-stylish SO Sofitel Bangkok in Sathorn. Heavily incorporating artistic flourishes from French designer Christian Lacroix throughout the property - from the showily vibrant uniforms to the show-stoppingly gorgeous Club Signature - the property places a big premium on style, but never at the expense of substance. Easily one of my favourite Bangkok property...
