The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
This place is just HUGE !! and brand new !!
Very good display and very variety.
For a nature - animal - fossil lover, you will definitely need at least 3 - 4 hours to explore
very beautiful and very unexpected. This is the best nature museum that i have ever go. You can go there by subway super easy....
This museum was such a treat! Some of the taxidermy is not great (lions and leopards) but everything else is very well preserved and looked after. The butterfly exhibit is beautiful and the dinosaur exhibits will be a huge hit with children or paleontology fans!
This is my fave restaurant in Shanghai and my most favourite steakhouse in the whole wide world. The steaks are subliminal and the appetisers and desserts are incredibly fine, balanced and so delicious! I’ve been back three times since May and I still drool thinking about the Egg dish, the foie gras and the desserts. Absolutely to die for!
Just go for it. I'm craving it already. Best enjoyed on the spot. Just order it and have it while it's still warm.. Bring out that "happy kid" (even if you hadn't tried it before) feeling as you eat/ enjoy one of these tarts.
My review is equal to Din Tai Fung in Beijing-APM, because the quality of the food and service is exactly the same.
Xiao Long Bao are surprisingly tasty, and the whole menu (I tried lots of dishes, including different fried rices, meats and buns) was great. Highly recommended and definitely worth the - not so high - price.

"Delicious Italian food"

Food is overall great. Especially the antipasti and handmade pastas and raviolis. One of our favorite place for a casual Italian amidst Shanghai huge offer...
Pizzas are good, not the best in town though.
Restaurant setting not so nice, good for a meal with friends. Chef, manager and staff overall welcoming and friendly.
The Puli has always been my hotel of choice in Shanghai. The hotel combines luxurious contemporary Chinese design, with impeccable service standards, and a diversified food offering.
With its spacious resort size rooms and suites, I always feel like I have been transformed into a hidden sanctuary, however the hotel is just steps away from the major shopping malls...
The Hospitality right from check-in to check out was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Chinese traditional mails as a first time visiting China. Also appreciate all your staff both at the reception and those attending to guest during meals expectantly Connei Han.

Frequent travelers to Four Seasons might consider contacting the hotel directly for better rates than what's typically on offer via aggregator sites - this was the advice of the front desk staff when we checked in. Got upgraded to the Executive Suite for our week long stay, which was a nice touch. While the photos show a modern decor for...
"Great design, properly boutique (small), good location"

Small, stylish boutique hotel conveniently located for Jing'An temple/metro and some good bars and restaurants within reasonable walk. Staff were very friendly and moved me to another room when I complained about construction noise. Rooms are very well designed but starting to show their age a little. Internet was fast and reliable.
Restaurant is at the fine-dining end of the...
Only recently opened (3 months) when I stayed there in August at the insistence of my client. I’m so glad he did! This had to be the best hotel I’ve stayed in for many years. And I’ve stayed in many in Shanghai and China over the years.
Architecturally stunning yes! But the service and attentiveness of ALL staff was amazing.....
