Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
MALBA is one of the most important places to visit for anyone interested in Latin American modern art. The permanent collection may be limited, but changing exhibitions make this a place to visit time and again. The building is light, spacious and beautiful. A piece of art in itself. It can get very busy at times.
"Great museum, fun place to see the gentry of Buenos Aires in 1930s"

Buenos Aires has some grand houses built in the 1920-1930's, and this is one that visitors can actually go in. The art exhibit is nice and we enjoyed it. But, the grand house was quite a statement and very enjoyable.
In November when I was there, this formal garden setting is perfumed and colorful. There are benches, fountains, and rose bushes, trees, climbing, and trellised of every color. Paths of crushed clay allow you to promenade in the gardens so you can't hurry - buy why would you want to. The people watching isn't bad either. I caught a musical...
"An excellent dining experience in a friendly location"

I had eaten at I Latina in Buenos Aires the evening before, so Dario had a lot to live up to. I arrived at 19.30, half an hour before the restaurant opened and enjoyed a pint of IPA at the beer bar over the road. When I returned, I was reassuringly informed by my greeter that the restaurant was only...
The hosts were so much fun. They made lots of jokes, and really got everyone into a really nice vibe. Starting with a fun ''taste game", then a cocktail workshop and then an empanada rolling workshop, some traditional handgesture workshop, then amazing food, how to order a steak in argentina, and how to drink maté. WONDERFUL, had so much fun.

"So much food"

We booked and asked friends to join us, based on the Trip Advisor ratings and so were very nervous when we walked to the address to find a big black door filled with graffiti as the entrance. Once the door opened and we climbed the stairs, we began to relax and enjoy the evening. It’s a great way to experience...

Just returned from a memorable lunch. If it wasn't for our next door neighbor at the ap't we are renting we would not know about El Calden.
it's a Thursday and we arrived a bit after 1PM. Perfect timing....because altho tables were occupied the DR was filled by 1:45 pm.
Crristian was our waiter AND terrific. Even spoke some english....
Quite possibly one of the best hotel experience’s both my wife and I have ever had. We both travel a lot so that’s not something we say lightly. This was the first stop on our Honeymoon throughout South America. We arrived to BA tired after a 30 odd hour trip from Australia. We had arranged a transfer through the hotel...
As many other reviews have attested, Home Hotel is fantastic. The lobby and garden are beautiful and inviting, with a delicious breakfast and attentive staff both at the desk and in the restaurant. Everyone is friendly without being annoying or over the top. We stayed in a standard room which was well-sized with a great shower, clean sheets and towels,...
"Delightful doesn’t come close to describing Miravida Soho."

Spent first days in Buenos Aires at Miravida Soho. Previous reviews are spot on, or maybe a bit understated. Staff, rooms, breakfast, location, wine, breakfast - you name it. All five star plus and with no pretence, artifice - just excellence in hosting. Felt we were a part of a warm welcoming family from the moment our driver took us...
The Magnolia was a wonderful base in Buenos Aires for our 9-night stay. A few of the highlights? Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beautiful main floor room with patio. Exquisite breakfasts. Lovely rooftop patio. The Magnolia is on a quiet street but close to all the action in Palermo Soho. We would definitely return.
Very nice boutique hotel in Palermo Soho. The staff and service was amazing.
We arrived early and not only was our room ready way before check in time we also got upgraded to the roof top suite with a beautiful balcony overlooking the vibrant and lively streets of Palermo Soho. Plenty of cool restaurants within short walking distance and Plaza...
