The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
"Worth the visit even if you are not a baseball fan"

I only decided to take the tour because Fenway sits directly behind Hotel Commonwealth where I was staying. The tour is about an hour long and they take throughout the entire park with the exception of the players locker room. They do however take you to the visiting teams locker room. Park is much smaller than I expected but what...
For the money (it was 25$ for me to get in and you can also visit one more time within 10 days) the value I received visiting MFA can't even be described. I got to see displays of everything from Fine Art to Mummies. Things I would otherwise only see on a documentary of some kind on TV. The Museum...
"Spent an afternoon strolling through the Mall..."

It was late autumn, but the trees were barely changing color. That didn't matter, this is the most charming spot to stroll and wander. Plenty of seats to stop and look around at the gorgeous homes along Commonwealth Avenue. Many, many dogs walk their people here (lucky people AND dogs) and there are twinkle lights that shine at night. You...
This was the highlight of our stay at Boston. This is the concert hall from the college for Jazz where most of the Grammy's come from! We were lucky to see and listen to a great perfomance of Cory Henri and special guests. Amazing concert with a full house, full of musiciens, students, media and jazz lovers. Highly recommended!
We came here for breakfast this past weekend and had a great experience. Our server was pleasant and attentive and the food was very good. This was our second time visiting Eastern Standard and we will defiantly be back again.
As a party of four we decided to order a wide range of appetizers as well as main courses. The gnocchi was the winner on the appetizer side and the duck was the main course of choice. All dishes were well prepared and aesthetically presented so the winning choices were hard
Decided to try out Wahlburgers after the game and was not disappointed. It was around 8pm so there wasn’t any wait. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. Everything was pretty good. Glad we tried it out. The Sloppy Joe was delicious and I loved the onion rings! Enough for 2 to share easily!
I enjoyed the Mac attack burger. We also really enjoyed the buffalo fries. Definitely get the frappes. Their prices are reasonable. It was nice to have the text feature for the table so we could walk around and not just stand around waiting an hour for the table to be ready.
Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Good rooms, Fantastic attitude, free fruit and muffin in the lobby very early in the morning catching a morning flight. record player at my room with the Eagles LP beside. i will stay here every time i go back to Boston. Thank you Verb owners and employees!
Made a reservation at this hotel because there was a special on Travelzoo. This hotel was fantastic. From the minute you pull up to the curb you receive 5 star treatment, from the valet to the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Service was amazing. it is also very convenient to everything with the hotel sitting directly atop the Kenmore...
I am not sure which I enjoyed more, the great bed or the friendly staff. The room, the staff, the atmosphere and the Boston area made for a fantastic weekend. Room service was prompt and the food was hot when delivered. The front desk employees went out of their way to make my daughter and I had everything we needed...
Stayed overnite at this hotel close to Fenway and BU. Convenient, Clean and comfortable and reasonable. Walking distant to shopping and numerous restaurants.Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. The bathrooms larger specially shower. Breakfast was good. Will certainly stay at this place again.
Noah was the most helpful and knowledgeable desk clerk I have ever dealt with. He should be promoted to manager. He is keen to help any guest especially those who are visiting the hospitals in the area.
