This cafe is a favourite of ours. Set within lovely native bush it is certainly a lovely place to visit and the food is terrific. You can eat out side in the sunny courtyard or inside either place is very nice. The staff were friendly and efficient. I tried a lovely home made paid a 'Steak and Guiness' one. Scrumptious.... This is a great place to stopover or stay. The home made pies are amazing with so many choices including my favourite venison. The area is one of the most scenic in NZ

We were driving from takaka to Picton to catch the ferry and stopped here for lunch on recommendations of friends who raved about the pies. We were so glad we stopped, they had a beautiful selection of pies, frittatas and scrummy homemade cakes, muffins and pastries. We ordered a lamb and mint pie, steak and Guinness pie, apple strudel, raspberry... More

Oh my goodness the handmade pies ... the steak and cheese is right up there at this cafe set in the bush by pelorus bridge. Definitely worth pulling over for a break. Must be pretty popular as it has a few bus parks as well as plenty of car parks. They have lots of beautiful looking cabinet food as well.

Came across this little café on our way to Nelson. It proved to be a great place to stop and have a bit to eat. Staff were extremely friendly. Food and coffee was lovely. This café is well situated off the main highway. There is plenty of parking and campgrounds are nearby. Also close by is the historic Pelorus Bridge... More

A beautiful setting for a Cafe to be in. Shame about the wasps but thats so common in most places over the summer months. Heaps of parking around trees. Toasted sammies were divine and the coffee was nice.
