On a great place to schedule a short stop between Marlborough and Nelson. Staff are as wholesome as the baking. The food available is genuine kiwi tucker and some of the best in the country. Love this place and scheduled a stopover on a few occasions.

We stopped here for a coffee and light lunch following our morning walk. So glad we did. I was impressed by their range of food choices and how they catered to gf, vegetarian, children, healthy eaters and everyone else. They have a good selection of ice cream (in a cone) or packaged. An impressive variety of pies, including a mussel... More

This is the healthiest place to stop between Blenheim and Nelson and it has a great number of carparks. This time we called in for an icecream on the way home from Nelson and to pick up something easy to reheat for dinner. I chose the corn fritter which was moist full of goodies and flavour, and my husband chose... More

Pelorus Coffee is a nice coffee shop with good food and very tasty coffee. The prices are good. You can sit outside near the trees or take with you to the beach.

This cafe is a favourite of ours. Set within lovely native bush it is certainly a lovely place to visit and the food is terrific. You can eat out side in the sunny courtyard or inside either place is very nice. The staff were friendly and efficient. I tried a lovely home made paid a 'Steak and Guiness' one. Scrumptious.... This is a great place to stopover or stay. The home made pies are amazing with so many choices including my favourite venison. The area is one of the most scenic in NZ

We were driving from takaka to Picton to catch the ferry and stopped here for lunch on recommendations of friends who raved about the pies. We were so glad we stopped, they had a beautiful selection of pies, frittatas and scrummy homemade cakes, muffins and pastries. We ordered a lamb and mint pie, steak and Guinness pie, apple strudel, raspberry... More
