I visit the White Horse on a semi-regular basis and know many of the locals and the staff. There are usually 5-6 real ales available (including Harvey's). These are kept in great condition. I can't vouch for the lagers & ciders but I haven't heard my friends complaining. Whether you are looking for Sunday Lunch (often busy) or a traditional... More

A friendly local pub, with a great menu. Its not fancy or a chain pub (thank goodness) just an honest pub serving good grub. Recommend Sunday roast ( book ahead, its busy at the weekend)and the best steak and ale pie. Dog 🐶 friendly too.

The slow cooked pulled pork was... More

This is a popular and busy pub/restaurant on Sundays. Good selection of real ales. The beef on Sunday was succulent and plenty of it. Nice but small garden area at rear. Toilets a bit basic. A bit pricey

Starter of breaded prawns OK but went downhill after that. Roast beef like leather and vegetables swimming in oil and the brownie was not to die for as it was already dead. Staff could have been more engaging and polite with a smile but not this day. Tried it but wont be returning.

My wife and I had an evening meal here which we both enjoyed and thought good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the real ale was good.
