£15 for Sunday lunch, £9 for a child I thought was a bit pricey. The meat and vegetables were good. Roast potatoes a little overdone. Lovely pint of Landlords bitter. Limited menu for kids.

My partner and I were staying locally for valentines day and had heard about this pub for brewing it's own beer. Went in for a few samples. Although expensive, we were impressed with the selection. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and we spent time relaxing next to the open fire. Would like to try the food next time

I visited today with my father and had cod and chips for lunch. The fish was absolutely the finest / freshest fish I have ever tasted. Cooked to perfection. My father was equally please with his smoked haddock and poached egg dish. The fire was lovely, the staff friendly. Very excited to be putting in a date in the diary... More

A tad overpriced for the size of portions. My fish and chips (beautifully cooked fish, but only one piece) was not quite an adult portion. I counted my chips; not something I usually do. i had 14, and none of them were particularly large. Attentive, polite and efficient staff and so I left a deserved generous tip. Worth visiting for... Good pub with lovely food. Very cosy when you want to get away from the winter weather. Try the sorbet!

Extremely overpriced......my (small) main course was reheated in a microwave!! Portions were embarrassingly small. Steak was average at best, vegetarian option poor. Chilly/drafty inside (on a cold winters day) and if it's a quiet time you need forget it as it seems a haunt of families with young children. We won't be going back!

Very attractive pub in heart of village. Food was good but not very large portions for the price. Friendly staff.

Had a 3 coise meal with a friend, everything was beautifully presented and tasted great, however this is not a cheap place but it's well worth the money

Came for a lunch with friends. Tried to book a table but they only take bookings for groups of 8 or more. However, it was midweek and we got a table without any problems. My friends had fish and chips which looked small but was solid and delicious and plenty. I had the soup with bread which was both delightful.... More
