Four of us went for dinner. It is a fairly short menu but enough choice. The meat sharing platter was very good, as was the chicken and mushroom pie as the main course. A beef burger and two chicken salads completed the main courses and were well received by my companions. Service was friendly and efficient.

My husband and I went here for dinner. The venue itself has a really nice warm atmosphere and the staff were friendly. We ordered a sharing plate starter (baked camenbert) and for mains I had the pork belly and my husband had a beef burger. He ordered an extra peppercorn sauce for the burger which was very yummy. For dessert... More

It's not often I go out of my way to write reviews but the lunch we had yesterday, duck breast salad followed by local trout was truly outstanding. having lived 30 years on the continent, I am frequently disappointed by food here in the UK. This was nothing short of perfect!

The Drummond was on route during a long dog walk. The bar is dog friendly. It was busy, but not rammed. Good choice, so far we thought. It was Bank Holiday Sunday, and we had booked. We were seated quick, and drinks (two orange juices) were prompt. Staff were friendly, helpful etc etc. All good so far. We ordered just... More

We stopped off here for lunch, midway through a walk. We ordered the beef and hog roast dinners. Really delicious and great portion sizes. We were also able to order a couple of sausages to keep our dog happy. Excellent service from friendly staff. We sat outside but could see that dogs were welcome inside. Will definitely return. A lovely... More

An atmospheric pub with willing and cheerful staff. We had some excellent sandwiches and were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the lovely garden beside the stream. And the chips were to die for!

Although competitively priced for the area, I can't recommend staying here due, mainly to the condition of the ensuite bathroom. When I raised my concerns with the owner, whilst he did explain that they have an ongoing refurbishment programme, he didn't grasp the fact that the bathroom was filthy to the point that I would not even use the shower.... Always enjoy trout fishing in the Albery estate lakes like Wesson or vale end and part of the trip involves a lunch break at the Drummond. We don't book so finding a table on Sundays is unlikely but the friendly patron squeezed us in and we enjoyed a really nice charcuterie plate and a couple of pints of 'tea'. Interesting... More

Meal average but starter portions small. Mains did not come out together and staff looked disinterested in the diners - felt an inconvenience
