We stayed in West Bay for nine days, and ate at the Heritage Kitchen four times! Food is outstanding, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

We went to Heritage Kitchen for lunch. It sits by the side of the road with a nice view of the ocean. There's just a few choices of different types of fish fixed with a different toppings. The fish was well prepared and all dishes...More

Great Lunch spot, little hut, which serves good fish at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the pan fried grouper platter and conch fritters on a picnic table in the shade.

If you don't know about it, you'll miss it. I am still perplexed at how this little hut without a fancy kitchen can serve up such great meals. Whether you eat in or do take out, it is never disappointing. My recommended dish is the...More

Wow!! This place is literally a hut on a side street. The best fish ever. Had several ways to prepare it, but we chose the coconut. Big portions that came with about 4 side dishes.. best “fried” bread. Beautiful view of the ocean across the...More

We totally enjoyed our visit to Heritage Kitchen while in the Caymans. Kind of a dive and hard to find, but the food was good.

Our family enjoyed delicious Mahi Mahi and Grouper meals with mango and guava drinks, while sitting outside under the shade of an almond tree overlooking West Bay beach! Lovely, relaxing setting. Also had fresh almonds for dessert!

We are frequent visitors to the islands. We know what good local island food is. This was not it. I’m sorry to say this, primarily because the staff were so friendly, but I would not recommend this place.

I have eaten here many times and this place is pure magic: a really local family restaurant looking out to sea and practically on the sea wall. This is the place to watch the sunset. I am just so happy every time I eat here....More

I don't believe they do. You eat out on picnic tables after you order your food. It is very local cuisine and style.

Local Cayman food at it's very best. Recommended by all who have eaten there. Written up as the place to go to in the Cayman Islands by the New York Times.Heritage Kitchen lies snuggled next to Boggy Sands Road in West Bay, serving some of the best local food.Fresh fish fry, fritters and fish tea are some of the most popular dishes.Diners eat at wooden tables outside the tiny restaurant or can sit on the sea wall a few feet away and watch the waves. The restaurant is behind the Heritage shopping centre at the four-way stop.Open Wed/Thu until 8pm,Fri/Sat until 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm which is our Barbeque Day!
