We stopped here for lunch around 1:30 pm. The place was packed indicating its popularity. When we placed our order, the owner advised us they were finishing up with the lunch rush and there might be a bit of a wait. When asked how long, she said less than 30 minutes. Their normal wait time could be as long as... More

The chicken pesto with Gorgonzola cheese is the best pizza I've ever had. We get it regularly and quality is always consistent. If I were stuck on a deserted island this would be my one food. I also love the pastrami sandwich 😜. The meat tastes almost like bacon 🥓. This is what I get if I'm eating alone or... More

This café is off the beaten path but worth the effort to visit. The food was good and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and welcome tourist. Many locals frequent the café. A stop here provides an opportunity to enjoy the history associated with the town of Kapaau.

We've been here nearly 30 minutes after ordering a sandwich, to go. The people are nice but I could have slaughtered a steer, grown the veggies, made the bread by now. Everyone's order is taking the same amount of time. With 3-4 people running around behind the counter, I can't imagine a valid excuse.

When I was roadtripping through the island, I stopped for lunch in this cute cafe. A few months later, I still remember how amazing the food was and I never had better banana bread than bobby's! One of the best restaurants I visited during my trip in Hawaii!

Our group of 9 popped into this place for lunch and all were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great too. I would go back and you should try it too!

We had driven to the end of the island, and we had been told by locals about this gem across from the Original Kamehameha statue. He was born in this village. The menu is quite varied, but their Greek pesto chicken pizza is the best! The salads are from very local gardens.

Stopped here for a late lunch after trekking the Pololu Valley lookout and had worked up an appetite. Brick oven-cooked pizza hit the spot! Quirky little place with outdoor patio seating and cool knick knacks decorating the interior. My favourite sign said "Walk in, Hula out". Reasonable prices, for Hawaii. I had the huli chicken pizza and it was tangy,... More

Casual, local restaurant with good choices of pizza and sandwiches. Also open for breakfast. Right across the street from the original Kamehameha statue.
