had read the rave reviews before we decided to try Sanman. needless to say, hopes were high. but was really disappointed when they served us frozen pomfret and seer fish instead of fresh. least we could expect when dining in a seaside restaurant is fresh fish and they failed to deliver.

Good sea food. Specially the crab masala is awesome.. the joint is always full with tourists and waiting time is about 15-20min but the food balanced every grievance.. Overall gud place.. only wash room cleaning needs serious attention..

Must go to this place if you like konkani style sea food preparations We had the pomfret thali which came with a whole fried pomfret! Sukat(baby prawns), pomfret gravy and solkadi. The prawn fry was also decent. Suggest to take thali here, the chicken rassa is goood for those who like spicy.

So we visited Sanman the restaurant at Alibaug and they supply food to the resort as well. We had high hopes and were totally disappointed with the preparation. The fish thali was cold and prawns tasted awful. It was a completed waste of money, time and experience. Would never recommend to visit them.

We ate twice at this restaurant in our 3 day stay. I am vegetarian while my husband is non-vegetarian. I had a veg thali while he had a fish thali. Good value for money. The solkadhi was a little too salty for us. The bhakri and the sabzis in my thali were pretty good. Quantity is decent. I am a... More
