We ate here about 6-7 times. Everything was delicious, super cheap and big portions. What more could you want!?

My friend and I tried a place called Tiki's that was supposed to be the best in town but it's always the little hidden places that turn out to be the best. The food was delicious and economical. Great hospitality! It's steps from the beach. Smells of the ocean and sounds from the waves. Everyone is so friendly!

We came here multiple times to order breakfast or lunch, they are fast and will pack it up to go. Staff is great. They don't offer a lot of extras during the rainy season since there isn't a lot of tourist activity. This is the second year we have come here for food when we visited playa flamingo. Great service.

This is a modest cafe which in Costa Rica is called "soda". I had chicken Casado which is rice, beans, little salad, and chicken. Food was tasty, service was good and attentive, the price was very cheap. I saw a lot of locals eating there which is always a good sign. If you're looking for fancy restaurant, this isn't for... Do not miss out on experiencing the true Costa Rican food. I can the Casado, Pollo with Sauce (sweet tomato sauce), fell off the bone. Plantains were perfection. Also had the black bean soup with hard boiled egg suspended in the soup, served with rice and lime for about 4 dollars in a huge serving-size bowl!!! Fabulous. Great decor. Looks... More

We tried this Soda based on other reviews here and seeing how inexpensive the food is. We prefer to eat what the locals eat and found this soda to be the perfect spot. The staff was helpful and the food was amazing. $5 for a casado, $1.25 for a smoothie, $8 for shrimp, rice, fries and salad (so much food!).... More

Sodas are a great way to experience tico style food at an affordable price. This soda had amazing arroz de mariscos y sopa de mariscos. We had both of those, 2 batidos (fresh smoothies made with organic local fruit), botella de agua --- with tax and tip it came out to about $25. There's no way you can get that... More

Our family had a great lunch! Pork chuleta, and pollo filet casados were tasty and nicely priced. There were 8 of us and a baby and everyone enjoyed their meal.
