My BF searched for a place where we could eat some great pulled pork in Sardinia and we came to Oasi Blu. The menu was just lovely. We loved the 5 courses, even if it was to much to eat (big quantities in total). The...housewine was delicious as wel. the price- quality - quantity was the best during our stay in SardiniaMore

On my wife's birthday we took a chance to go and get a closer knowledge of the "oaasi Blu" of which one of our nephew had latel extolled its qualities. Since now I have to thank Antonello, Oasi Blu's owner, for allowing us to spend...some very happy hours. The food was excellent and the wine lived up to our expectations and of the context. A lovely musical background enlivened the place. In the area and its surrounding territory there in shortage of opportunities to taste traditional and modern sea cuisine Eating and drinking, amost entirely, homemade food and drinks prepared according to the Sardinian tradition of the South West Sardinia. Not to add that food and drinks were served with skill and remarkable politeness within a natural landscape of a delightful Mediterranean beauty ( olive treees, myrtle, cistus, lentisk and arbatus) is something which soynds not only original but maybe unique. Antonello has been so kind as to send us the set menu planned for the weekend (Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December 2019) A great selection of homemade starters all of them derived from ingredientscoming from the owerniship products: cheese, sauseges or chorizo, artichokes, mushrooms, cheese cream, pear jam, grilled cheese, pork cracklings, guanciale coutons. lamb coratella. . Two first courses artichoke noodles or tagliatelle, tomato and safron sauce ravioli.( the sause was really delicious) The second courses were also two: lemon and egg sauce lamb and pork tenderloin chef style with tasty roast potartoes on the side Today's dessert was made up of fried raviolini : one of them was filled with ricotta and covered with a dash of orange peel while the other one has a pear filling. a strong red Carignano and an aromatic white wine (Vermentino) went with our lavish lunch After a good expresso we tasted and found out lthe "Mirta". It's a Sardinian brandy made from wine called Fill'e ferru, Dopo il caffé abbiamo gustato e scoperto la "mirta" ovvero una grappa di vino (filu'e ferru) skillfully flavoured to which mythle leaves and wild fennel had been added. This set menu was charged €35 p.p. Thank Antonello splendid and friendly host and many thanks to Antonello's warm and polite staff.More

It has now become a ‘must’ to visit when in the area. Never had anything less than a fantastic meal. A great asset to Calasetta and the best meal in town in a great environment! Keep it up and we look forward to the next...visit (which will be very soon)!!More
