Well; after nine days across the expanse of the island of Sicily on the trail of visiting wineries, restaurants and fine residences, this was the last time together. And what a great setting south of Marsala, waters-edge in an isolated haven of Petrosino. Marsala as its natural self-quiet, simple, sunny, welcoming. Napoli-born chef Francesco Rallo made us welcome by presenting... More

This is certainly a "destination restaurant". The food and the service is solid. Dining near the sea is always such a pleasure. We were there on a very blustery day but it was easy to imagine how lovely this place must be on a calm sunny day. We tried to find this place last year and gave up. I'm glad... More

We ventured out to this restaurant on a recommendation from our hotel, and it provided a memorable evening with good food and a little bit of an adventure. As you can see from other reviews, the restaurant is really located off the beaten path beyond where the pavement ends. If you were opening a new restaurant this would be an... More

Posh restaurant hidden away. Very good food but it was clear the waiting staff had no time for tourists. We were a group of four, seated at 2 rickety tables. Food was good although we only got our plate of roast potato after finishing the meal and having to ask twice for it. Did not really care for the service... More

Arrived here as we booked an apartment nearby, basically due passi from the restaurant. As "antipasti" I had baked obergines with cheese. Until now, I did not have an such delicious obergine dish. By far, the best obergine based food that I ever ate. Main course was fresh dorada, correctly fried in an pistachio crust, respectively almond crust. Accompanied by... More

Finding this little gem can be tricky, when you enter the address in the GPS it takes you to the right street but you have to go quite a bit further along the road before you come to it. I posted pictures of the landmarks to look for, it is literally right across the dirt road from the beach, so... More

Right on the sea front, unmade road, rubble and tumble down buildings around, with one solitary sign AFTER the turning from the Mazara / Marsala main road over 3km away; make sure you have the Sat Nav on and it is possible to find this excellent restaurant. The search and ye shall find made the whole experience that much more... More

We went for a late lunch in April. It is a little difficult to find, but fairly easy with a gps. The only other diner left as we arrived so we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is very nicely furnished with huge windows looking out to sea (about 10 metres away). The waiter brought a tray of fresh... More

To describe this off the beaten track would be an understatement. A sign from the main road and then nothing else, until you can go no further without driving into the sea. But it is worth the journey. We arrived at the most unItalian time of midday for lunch, the first to arrive by nearly 2 hours. Welcomed by a... More
