I honestly don't understand the appeal of this place. The wait times are enormous and once you get it you're crushed into a dining space the size of a single car park. The food isn't bad but definitely not worth the price or conditions.

Upon arriving, i waited at the front counter and wasn't attended too for at least 5 mins . Staff appeared too busy. Room was too hot, crowded and noisy so I left to find a quieter cafe that was able to serve us a little...More

This place used to be fantastic, but now after getting drunk off their spot as touristy stopover the quality has declined. No bookings, you wait and line up outside the door. Food is ok, pricey. Note if you are even 1 minute past 3pm they...More

We have been to Miss Marple's a few times (twice with our toddler) and the food has always been good, especially the fruit scones and beef cottage pie. Service wasn't the best and we had to wait longer for our food despite having ordered the...More

Miss Marple's is always great for a cosy catch up with friends or family in a fun environment. Food is good and the service is always great. A bit squashy and sometimes lengthy delays to secure a seat, but once you're in, worth it for...More

Scones were a bit of a disappointment. More like a square sponge cut into pieces. Quite skimpy on their jam which was lovely/ Very noisy and busy. Had to wait to get in

Enjoyed a nice drive through the Dandenong Mountains, and saw a line up outside a quant little English style building on main street. We walked past and the old style music being played outside it, provided more of an enticement to look in. It's truly...More

The family and I have visited a number of times for lunch and the food has never been disappointing. I do think that the prices are higher than they should be and I think of this as a tourist tax but it's not ridiculous. Their...More

A relaxing drive through the Dandenong Ranges should not be complete without a stop in Sassafras. Nestled in the Main Street this niche English styled cottage exudes all the personality and a hint of mystery straight from an Agatha Christie novel. A simple yet delicious...More

HI, As far as i am aware it has not changed hands and the scones are still made fresh although i didn't try them this time round. In all fairness i don't think they are the standard type of scones you would bake at home... More
