Called for a curry while camping nearby. Husband is a big curry fan. We had a starter, poppadoms, two curries, chips and nann plus two large Cobras
The chicken tikka balti with spinach was amazing. The bowl was emptied and up there with the finest my husband had had.
Whole bill was under £35 and service was very friendly - the grandson of the gentleman who owned the restaurant
Would definitely recommend trying this one out

Since moving to the local area a few months ago we've ordered takeout / collection from Shabab four times. The food is hands-down the best takeout food we've ever had - the korma is deliciously creamy, the pastry on the samosas is crumbly and crunchy, and the portions are huge. We've had the food delivered twice and it arrived quickly (despite our house being difficult to find in the dark), and the other two times we arranged for collection and only had to wait a few minutes on arrival for the food to be packaged up. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and polite. I've never been a huge fan of curries, but after having this for the first time I actually started to crave them - it's definitely our takeout of choice!

We moved to Wem in March and started going here for a curry twice a week because our new house had no working kitchen. Four months later our new kitchen is in and we are still going twice a week it’s that good. The food is tasty, staff are very friendly and it’s really reasonably priced. It always seems busy especially at the weekend. 5*.

First time I have been to the Shabab. First thing was it was pretty cold in the restaurant (late October), we ahd to keep our coats on. If they want to operate as a take away they should just do that.
Pops were not fresh cooked (cold) or not cooked poperly they were quite flexible chewy to eat, on the other hand my wifes starter was pretty crispy and it shouldn't have been, main courses were OK, good portion size. Not sure I would give it another go. We may have hit the restaurant on an "off night", as it has a pretty good review rating. The staff were friendly but the service was really slow.

Great choices of authentic dishes. Good, friendly staff and really affordable dishes

Just been to shabab in Wem for something to eat . The food was fresh and hot. Service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our night out. Our favourite Indian restaurant.

Visit here every weekend for my usual mixed kebab start with keema rice the guys are the best always take time to have a little chat the food is the best I’ve ever tasted and I have ate in some Indian restaurants but no longer go to them I drive from Liverpool just for the experience the prices are very reasonable you now I can text all night but believe me once you have been you will be doing the same as me every weekends
Times are hard at the moment so we need to be looking out for price and the quality and these guys have it in abundance food prices are excellent so give them a try 5*****

The food was not very good at all, from the very start to the very end - the owner needs to rectify this in person as his current staff are mediocre at best.

A lovely evening here , group of 6 , took our own beers , food excellent and plenty of it , staff are great and very efficient, never rushed us with our meal , this restaurant does exactly what it says on the tin 😄

Very good authentic tasting food. Good sized portions. None of that fancy stuff you get in a lot of Indian restaurants nowadays. Service was excellent. Very enjoyable.

I had waited 1 hour for my main meal at this Indian restaurant. And by the time the food had arrived, it was only small portion! People coming in for a takeaway were getting their food in minutes. Ridiculous service, not even cleaning tables! McDonald's provides better table service than this "supposed" Best Indian in Shropshire.

Very poor service, they were constantly on their phones. On several occasions I had to ask them to clear away things off the table as there was just no room to put anything else, we also had to ask for drink refills as we were not approached. On placing the food on the table the things that they brought the dishes on where filthy dirty, I didnt really want to eat because of this but we had waited an hour already for the food to get there. Also at no point during our meal were we asked if everything was ok, if we were I would of said something. We will not be going in this restaurant again.
