On a mid-week night we ate well in La Fleur de Sel. The service in this bistro was excellent which compensated for the rather austere athmosphere and decoration. The meal was very tasty, starting with the amuse-bouche and finishing with a minute portion of dessert. The meat in the main dish could have been of a higher quality. All in... More

Chose La Fleur de Sel based on the reputation of the main restaurant (Le Cerf 2**, 18/20 GM, Relais & Chateau) and the fair prices (55 CHF for a 3 course menu). Service was very professional, timing between dishes was appropriate, quaint dining room with modern decoration. Chose the 3 dish surprise menu. Entrée of foie gras terrine was good... More

There are many similarities between "Le Cerf" and "La Fleur de Sel", like the kitchen, or the building, or the entrance door. While some things are obviously made in common, which are delicious btw (like the entries which are served before the main dish) and others are very good, like the desert; one little detail strikes when the meat that... The tiny Fleur de Sel brasserie is a perfect match to the internationally renowned Le Cerf restaurant. The only difference is the simplicity of the place and the (much) lower prices. We made a lunch-time reservation to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. While the Chef delighted the children with a delicious plate of pasta, we (4 adults) indulged in the 3-course... More

Very good dinner here at "le cerf"'s little offshoot. More low key, but excellent nonetheless. Portions not large, but perfectly enough. Service friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

A table for 2 in the thoroughfare of a room of 14 covers, not the start needed for a tranquil setting. The traffic of the staff through the door to the passage to the kitchen and the clic clic of the waitress's shoes on the stone floor were annoying and disconcerting. The menu was neither exciting for the diner or... More

We visited La Fleur de Sel on a recent visit to the area, and were extremely happy with our choice to dine here. A small, intimate little 'brasserie' of the Michelin 2* 'Le Cerf' next door, this restaurant allows you to sample some of the inventiveness from the same kitchen at a much more accessible price. The best option is... More

Unbelievable you eat the same food as in the cosy restaurant "Le Cerf" for 20 U$. Nice tiny restaurant with wonderful service and the star owner chef "Carlo Cricci" makes you a three course meal for a unbeatable price A must if you are in the region
