Went to Mon Village for dinner Saturday night, 8 PM reservation. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table, which I get...you don't want to rush people out the door. We were seated in the pub at the table close to the hallway....note to self DO NOT sit there in the winter again....it was very cold! To continue.....we waited... More

Seats very uncomfortable. Had to wait 1 hour after ordering our mane and the meat was Lukewarm. We were a party of five and when I complained the next day we were offered a brunch for two as compensation. What about the other three people? We would not go back again.

I have been to Mon Village a number of times over the last 20 years, with friends, with family and for parties as well as quiet intimate diners. It has to be one of the best and nicest country style pubs I have every frequented -- that includes Britain (although their "pubs" are different). I have only been disappointed once... More

The restaurant is located just off Highway 40 / 417. The restaurant has a definite rural flair and it's been a popular, gastronomique experience for years. We have been supporting the restaurant for over 40 years and we never get tired of it. Their French onion soup and garlic bread is the best in the area and their steaks are... More

Mon village is a great restaurant! We go there often and really enjoy the quiet , cozy and antique atmosphere of this place. The onion soup is great, I also really like the beef .. any steak is good ! The filet mignon sandwich is one of my favorite !

Had the 8 oz roast beef last night - - Bridget, our awesome waitress (who has been there for 16 years but looked like she was 20 something - - I'm 69 so it may just be that I'm so old) brought me extra "jus" and horseradish. The light amber Creemore Ale was good too. A friend and i were... More

This place is good for a Sunday brunch with an average cost. They have average salad section. The hot food include roast beef, ham, and the normal breakfast selections. They also have a omelet bar. The desert table is not the best. The only thing missing is no breads.

This restaurant is very nice and in a typical early Canadian old house. The food is nice, not Haute Cuisine, but very good. Prices are in the range of fine dinning restaurants but they do not have the service that goes with the bill. The young waiters do their best to be nice, BUT, in the end, it was a... More

We visited on multiple occasions as a group of people and found that the place is old, food was ok and the price was expensive. Was disappointed to be honest. This place is well known in the area, needs some revamping in my opinion.
