we called in here,,the place had suffered a major fire but they are planning a new, modern rebuild..the staff were resilient and very friendly...The 'wee' tearoom was doing a good trade and the cakes etc were excellent..Hopefully they will go from strength to strength.

We popped in for our first experience of clooties and they were fabulous. Lovely staff, great food and we even had a red squirrel come along to say hi at the window.

Stopped here for lunch whilst on holiday in the local area, sad to hear about the fire, but the tea room and gift shop they currently have is still worth a visit. Staff were so lovely and helpful, couldn't have been nicer to us. We had bagels with cream cheese, sundried tomatoes and spinach, absolutely delicious! They kindly made a... More

we 1st went to this centre in 2014 (thought it was last Feb, that's how quickly time passes!) and really liked it, lovely gift items, all manner of bird feeds, just a really well stocked family run store, naturally, when we were in the area last week we called in again, was so sad to see that a fire had... Popped here for morning coffee/tea whilst on holiday in area. Had been told about the red squirrels feeding there by a couple the previous day. Café in a temporary building at the moment due to them having had a huge fire last year which has obviously affected their garden centre business. A few gifts/craft items for sale in the attached... Despite the fire earlier this year it's still worth a visit. The clootie dumpling was delicious and the drinks reasonably priced.

Such a shame to seethe place as it is after the fire Visited today and the staff are still smiling away and working hard to keep it on track and will soon have it back on the mend as a full site

I have been visiting the Heather Centre for over 30 years and was so sad to see they had a fire last April where almost everything was lost. Luckily no-one was hurt but it's a mess where once there was beauty. The lady in the shop said the local people have been fantastic with their help and support--bravo to them.... More

Shame as I have been here before but unfortunately a fire has destryed most of it. They are going to rebuild and you can still visit for the Antique area and a small coffee shop and heather centre
