We wanted to grab some lunch at about 1pm before catching the return ferry to Townsville. Had thought there would be a few more cafes near the ferry terminal but only found this takeaway joint next to the IGA supermarket (or the very upmarket restaurant inside Peppers on Blue). Ordered a vegie burger - for a steep $11, I got... More

Being so close to the ocean, I was looking forward to a nice grilled barramundi and chips. My experience immediately went downhill when a grilled fish, a flake, minimum chips, and a couple of dim sims and a potato cake came to $40.00! Cold customer service. Rude and not friendly. Overpriced food. Raw burger yuck. Went twice for convenience and there won't be a third time.

We ordered 2 fish burgers and chips. The fish burgers had some sauce on them that tasted off with week old bread with 2 tiny pieces of battered fish and a bit of iceberg lettuce. Real exciting. The chips were french fries and undercooked. Expensive for what it was. Won't go back anytime soon.

My last visit was 2011 when it was a restaurant that had great atmosphere now it is just takeaway and is less than half the size it was. Very, very exspensive and very average quality the fish was $7.50 and was tiny sold as flake but was a very cheap rubbery fish. I understand they need to make profits from... More

First, I need to clarify, this little cafe is in Australia on Magnetic Island in FNQ, NOT in Nova Scotia, Canada. This little restaurant had great food at very affordable prices...all yummy and homemade. I had the Greek salad and mashed sweet potato...YUM! and my boyfriend had vegetarian crepes. With dessert and a drink it came to about $50.00 The... More
