Best Pancakes on Earth

Normally, I might visit a restaurant twice if my first experience was above average. On my recent visit to Okinawa I dined at the Seaside Cafe Hanon 5 times. Reason: the pancakes are the best on the planet earth. Note: If you do not dine at this restaurant during your stay, you have wasted your trip. Everyone who dines at that location is **Happy** when they leave. Note: After an excellent meal from the Seaside Cafe Hanon, please provide time for a 1/2 hour for rest and a 1/2 for relaxation at the pool (smile).

This is my absolute FAVORITE breakfast place in Okinawa. I returned multiple times for their PERFECT pancakes. You must try the French toast pancake or the cheese pancakes. Absolutely divine.

This restaurant are located in Chatan American Village and by the sea!! So you can see the beautiful ocean during eating!! I ate Eggs Benedict and my wife ate pancakes. So delicious both of them.

Mango pancakes that we over the top

My son took me to this cute restaurant near the sea walk and it has an amazing breakfast menu. It was hard to pick as everything looked yummy. I opted for the mango pancakes and it was a perfect choice. My son had an omelet and it was a true big breakfast, great if your hungry. I also wanted to appreciate the staff as they we very accommodating and so polite and appreciative. They do service breakfast (I think) until after 2 which is nice if you want breakfast for lunch.

Great Breakfast

Left my hotel to check out some breakfast places. Most were closed until 9:00. Wondered into Seaside and what a nice experience. The place was full of families enjoying classic breakfast with an elegant twist. I had egg Benedict on top of wonderful pancakes with an exquisite hollandaise sauce. Had a regular cup of American Joe that was good. It was served with a light salad and a tiny crepe brûlée. It was cloudy but the view of the South China Sea was very nice. A must in Okinawa.

I’ve eaten at nearly every cafe in the sunabe area, but this place may be my favorite. The view from their balcony is amazing. The coffee was good. Their pancakes are amazing!

I would highly recommend breakfast or lunch here! Overlooks the sea, great food and service. You should expect to get your dishes at different times but that wasn't a problem as so relaxed. Food was delicious!

This is my first time to Okinawa. I brought my wife and baby girl to enjoy our afternoon time here. The pancake is very yummy. You can see seaside from the restaurant and enjoy your food and drink. I will recommend everyone to here. I will back again.

You had me at creme brûlée with your coffee

This was a great spot for brunch and I really enjoyed the decor and music selection as I eased into my day. My coffee macchiato was perfect and then they served it with a mini creme brûlée - it was so so good! To compliment, I had their popular hotcakes, served with bacon steak and scrambled eggs. Everything was prepared really well and service was great. My one minor disappointment was just the maple syrup which I felt was lacking. But the serenity of the view quickly erased that ill feeling.

A pleasant lunch overlooking the sea

This cafe offers a vibrant atmosphere with indoor/ outdoor seating. We love the hotcakes - soft and fluffy though there were presented simple. Everything was good - this is an ideally excellent lunch spot which overlooks the seafront. Though there was a queue, with their reasonable prices, this café definitely worth the wait.
