Visiting Hokkaido won't be complete without trying their delectable foods that includes crabs, beer and the famous Hokkaido Miso Ramen. True to its form nothing beats a home grown dish and were glad to try it here in Hokkaido. Of all the places we found...by accident this quaint little Ramen restaurant near our hotel between Grand Hirafu and My Ecolodge hotel in Yamada. We were walking on our way to our hotel from the base of Hirafu Gondola and we saw this restaurant. Glad we did else we would have missed one of the best ever restaurants that offer the traditional Hokkaido Miso Ramen we ever tried. The ambience is quite cozy - there is individual bar seating and table seating. We seated in the individual seating and despite the space it is still comfortable to seat. Toilet is available and very neat and clean. Ordering you must call out the staff and inform your order. I tried the Hokkaido Miso Buttern Corn Ramen and my partner tried the Kimchi Ramen. Both Ramen just cost around 950 Yen++ but their worth it. My Hokkaido Miso Butter Corn Ramen is packed of flavors - rich and creamy but not too thick and just the right balance of saltiness and creaminess. The cube of butter binds all the flavors together and adds a final touch. The corn is perfectly cooked and blended well. The noodles are medium cooked and just the right texture. The pork char siew is fresh and very tender. I ordered additional 3 pieces of Pork char siew to add in my delicious bowl of Ramen. Water is complimentary just like in any Japanese restaurants. My partner also loved his Kimchi Ramen and I tried it a bit and I could really taste the Kimchi infusion into it just the right mixture. It was indeed a worth visit and something to remember because of the flavors that's why it deserves my Excellent rating here in my review. If I visit Niseko I will be back here for more :=)More

The best ramen I had in Japan, and I had a lot. We ate here twice during our trip. Spicy Niseko ramen and the Spivey Garlic one both awesome. My friend had the Habenero one (thinking he was tough as nails) but it beat him....It’s ridiculously hot. The only downfall is that both times we had to wait outside for about 45min or so. Quite a long time in those temperatures. I think it’s worth the wait but so many more people would go or go again if the restaurant was bigger!More

The restaurant is small and doesn’t take reservations so you will typically have to wait outside for a while. However when you get inside the food is amazing, we had the potato and the spicy ramen. It was fantastic, I would highly recommend.

Food was pretty good. quite expensive for what you get. we got the famous potato ramen. we got extra meat and it was two tiny thin pieces of pork. don’t be deceived by the line. you may think it’s busy but it’s just slow service....we were the first group in at 5:30pm and didn’t leave until 7:15pm. we spent most of that time waiting for our food. customer service was also poor.More

We ate here 3 times during our visit and loved it each time-lined up and gave up in despair another time. Really good Ramen, good people. Not sure if the list system to get a table is genius or just plain masochistic. Certainly after u...have waited an hour outside in the snow the cosy atmosphere and food seem next level. Just time your visit. Get there at opening time. Or before.More

Since we experienced once the Niseko Ramen 2 years ago we visit this lovely, but all times full place each time we are nearby. I love the spicy Niseko Ramen and especially the potato foam is unbelievable. My daughter takes the Niseko Ramen (non spicy)...and is happy as well. They have a good side dishes as well and a basic assortment of drinks. Be aware there is no reservation possible - so you have to pass by, sign you name and number of people in the waiting list and wait outside till you are can entry. So be early or expect some waiting time. Anyway ... absolutely worth the visit.More

Our Japanese server spoke impeccable English. Ramen was piping hot and delicious. Creamy, salty, and icy. Pork fried rice was tasty. Local Niseko sake came in an adorable keepsake bottle we sought out at the souvenir shop on Main Street.

Most restaurant was closed on 1st Jan 2020. We decided to give this a try, We arrived 10 minutes before it open but there was a queue. As we missed the first bunch of people who can sit down, we waited for a long time...for our table. We had the standard potato mash ramen and the spicy ramen, dumplings, chicken wings, spicy edamame etc. Everything was delicious and we felt its well worth the wait. We did saw some tables were vacated for a long time, we weren’t sure why they let the guests stood at the freezing cold. Seems its lack of staff to get things done due to the small operation.More

My 1st ramen in Japan and really enjoyed the miso ramen + spicy chilli/garlic edamame beans. 10/10. Nice little restaurant with really friendly staff that speak English well. Quick service. Chef cooks to the side in view. Have come back a few times. Lunch time...quieter with no wait.More

Must order their spicy garlic edamame, stuffed chicken wings and potatoes ramen (quite salty though). The braised pork belly was average. Food was good and reasonably price.

Terrible Ramen and Worse Service - Should be avoided. Noodles were rubbery and broth tasted like dishwater. Also, the owner is a racist or discriminates against Chinese and doesn’t like to serve Chinese guests. I watch him refuse to serve 3 Chinese visitors.

I like “Niseko ramen”. Miso ramen with potato foam on the ramen. Also fried chicken wing was tasty. Very popular so it would be better to be there 30 minutes before their open time.

During my trip i ordered their famous potato miso ramen. The taste is just okay (i come with big expectation and dissapointed after tasting the ramen), big portion and the price is pretty cheap compared to other restaurant in niseko. You should also try their...pork slice its tasty and big. I tried the scallop but not good. The staff can speak english. The menu also have english translation and price. Notes: - the restaurant closed at noon 2.30pm and open again at 6pm - its better to come before 6pm to avoid the long queue. During winter time its really cold outside waiting for the queue. The ramen shop dont have waiting room! - no pram allowed inside the shop. It needs to be parked outside the shop next to car park - the ramen shop is pretty small. Prepare to squeeze a bit. Not recommended for large group of people and those coming with young kids. - the ramen shop is definetly not the place that make you comfortable to stay for long time. Especially after you see those hungry customer waiting in cold and dark winterMore

In general, they offered good ramen. But everything is so salty that I couldn’t finish the noodle soup. I am usually fine with salty soup but this is the first time I couldn’t finish it. We had high hope for the side dishes but they...turned out disappointing. The fired rice was even lukewarm when it’s served.More
