This place is ok, but went downhill since C19 hit. The food here is now "hit and miss". We came here several times in the past 6 years, however this is our last visit we will do as we fell it deteriorated due to the...following issues that are present; a)The food quality is good but not worth price asked. As a result of C19 there are some chef and staff turnover issues. b) Sadly the owner supports a strange habit of having 2 smokey fire places, smoking up directly under eves of building into the main air-conditioning intake duct. Many people I know, including us told him to change this and solve it ,over last 3 yrs, but he just ignores it. It means our own party, for 3 last times needed to wash hair and clothes as smoke inside restuarnt is so strong. Its madness as last visit it made us even feel ill and children too. For this reason alone we will not ever visit again! c) General quality of food is "hit and miss". Note good enough to make effort to pay the prices they ask. The positive is the band staff are nice and waitresses are friendly. Sadly waitresses don`t last long here mind you. Other positive is they brew good beer I would recommend this place only for lunch and only in summer and only when can dine outside and focus on drinking their beer and have no expectations for more than an average meal. I would avoid it for dinner times due to the major wood smoke issue that the owner totally ignores and as i feel its over priced for the quality presentedMore

The restaurant has a farm shop too, which may be open depending on what time of day you visit. The restaurant also comes with a bookable private transfer to your accommodation, to save the hassle on calling for a taxi or waiting for a bus...transfer as the restaurant is situated in pretty much the middle of no where. The menu is extensive and unique, with many dishes from around the world made using local produce. We enjoyed our experience here. Word of advice: BOOK IN ADVANCE AS SPACES RUN OUT QUICKLY!!!More

Very friendly service great atmosphere and great food. All wood interior with a drink and bread self serve counter. We had lunch so we had three choices on the menu. All food is freshly prepared and delicious. We went for the beer garden but they...were closed so had lunch at the restaurant and happy we did.More

I just ate here about two nights ago and the food is amazing!!!! The meat is tender and melts in your mouth (we had both the beef and pork stew), the sushi is fresh and soft, the desserts are perfectly sized and not too sweet,...the salad (and I'm not a vegetable person) is rich and full of flavor. If you're used to eating at the Cheesecake Factory or any sort of major chains such as that, then this might not be the place for you . It's really about quality here and the quantity is just right in my mind. It's not cheap but Japanese dining in general isn't cheap and for a little more compared to other restaurants you get better food. It's totally worth it. The service was so lovely too. Very sweet French girl and local staff were just perfect!More

What a great place to eat. Live music, awesome setting and my only issues was the meal felt rushed. Another was the minimal wine list however once i enquired i was escorted to the cave and the wine options are extensive.... They will also pick...you up from your door and drop you hope afterwards an no charge, meals reasonably priced for higher end dining. WELL WORTH IT.More

From ambience , live music to the excellently prepared and presented food, we had a remarkably delicious Xmas Eve dinner at this delightful restaurant. The choice of desserts deserves a special mention as well. We shall be back, haha .

This restaurant offer excellent service and good foods. We enjoyed our dinner much here, the major reason of dinning here as we had 20-30 people and we were looking for a restaurants that can accommodated all of us at a reasonable price. We had fun...that night and most of the foods were very good. Dinner price is reasonable. This is not the best restaurant in Nesiko but a good one for sure.More

Cant recommend due to high price, mediocre food, lacking service! appetizers serviced separately. 5 minutes apart as was dessert. Poured our own water/ wine! Wine bucket removed when still had half bottle of wine remaining! Utensils collected after appetizers and not replaced! Had to wave...down help to replace utensils! No attention to detail and no sense that staff cared about our dining experience! Certainly not a fine dining place!More

My daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch here in January 2019. The lovely waitress was most helpful with my daughter and her broken arm and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. The spaghetti bolognese was one of...the most delicious I have ever eaten anywhere in the world, and the bread tasting - oh my goodness. WOW! We also visited the bakery / shop and bought some amazing Hokkaido Lupicia tea as well. I wish we were able to visit again and again! Highly recommend.More

Just a short distance away from Hirafu, Lupicia offered the entire suite of dining experience for us. They offered a fixed price menu at 5000¥ for a 4 course meal which we would gladly foot again. Food was top notch (see pics attached) using local...produce - I don’t always enjoy oysters but the one they served with cream, gellee & mint sauce made want more, the venison I had was just shot by a local hunter tt day was just superb - service was superb by friendly & confident staff, ambience tip top, wine 🍷 reasonably priced plus really entertainment by a 3 person band. We were pleasantly surprised when they presented us with box of tea for putting up with the noise by some v noisy fellow diners from a certain country. Thank you for this wonderful dining experience - I highly recommend Lupicia to all visitors to Niseko! Oh yes, they offer pick up & drop off service too!More

We have been to this restaurant before for lunch and I thought their food was just the right in terms of portions and taste. What I really like is their use of seasonal local produce in their menu. This time the whole restaurant was booked...for a wedding dinner and I confidently say you will not find a more attentive service staff anywhere. The food was excellent of course, and I expect no less. But the attentiveness of the service staff was truly amazing. One of the staff noticed my friend was feeling a little chilly as she came quite unprepared for the drop in temperature at night - the staff spotted that and came promptly with a lovely blanket to keep her warm. We had children in the party and the cooked specially for the little ones! I will highly recommend this place if you are in the area.More

This is an excellent restaurant in all respects. The dinner is top notch and a little pricey but worth it. They do weekday lunch specials which are excellent value and you would normally pay double for the meals offered including Pork, Salmon, Pasta, Venison or...Steak during August, from 1200 JPY, and add 600 to include salad, soup and dessert. There are free flow teas and bread table. It's a lovely venue and staff are professional and discreet. Top notch !More
