We stopped by for dinner after a long day to eat and the place it is cute and looks like Switzerland. The food was very average nothing very special. The service was kind of cold but did their job.

We visited for lunch and returned to ride the train up to their panoramic restaurant, the food quality was average and drinks reasonably priced , The train ride is a real blast on a small train up a winding track over bridges and through tunnels to arrive at a Oanoramic restaurant with great views of the Atenal Volcano. Food in... More
Nice restaurant with traditional German food. Its a small drive from Tabacon but offers great views of Lake Arenal and its a great drive.
I have to clarify that "Los Heroes" is more than just a restaurant. They try to resemble a Swiss farm in the Alps. They have two restaurants, a hotel, dairy farm, and a chapel. The first restaurant is located in the main building. Right next to the reception lobby. The service they provide is really good. However, they don't have... More
An excellent restaurant for a coffee or lunch whilst touring around Lake Arenal. Do not be put off by the touristic setting. The day we visited the train driver was not available and therefore we were unable to appreciate the full site
Recommended by a friend. The restaurant close to the route is cosy and clean. While the prices are ok, the quality of the menu is not what I expect. Can't write about the other ammenities of the farm, because I could not visit.
We ordered a steak and the meat was very bad, cheap quality and full of fat. They did not want to change the dish and the service was very bad. They also have their cows locked with chains all day and never let them out. We confirmed this with a local.
We had been there several years ago and it was good. They charged us for a dish we did not eat. They also lock their cows and have... More
We ate at Los Heroes after a hike. The schnitzel and goulash were pretty good. The views were nice. The restaurant and the whole area was very beautiful.
Although this place has seen its better days, we were pleased by the overall time spent here. Our group of 7 were the only ones here. Even so, we rode the train up to the restaurant on the hill. They served us well and the view was spectacular.
