This is the very finest of Italian cuisine and more importantly the epitome of Italian hospitality, humor and charm. The location is humble and the prices are very comfortable, even with the superior quality of the dishes. The owner Emi is a delight to know. I visit every time I am in the area!

While visiting Nuevo Arenal where my cousin lives, he took us to this restaurant for dinner one night. We sat at a table on the porch and our host, Emmy, was great. I had her recommendation of a meat lasagna. My wife and two others in our group had the Misto Mare Linguine with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. One had the spinach lasagna and my wife had the gnocchi with gargonzola cheese that my wife said was "out of sight". I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area but call for a reservation.

Wow such warm, friendly owners and amazing pizza and pasta. Couldn’t have been more happy after a long day of activities and travel with our family, including a lot of teens. We walked in with a big group and felt so welcome and had an amazing meal!!
Side note my husband and I had just been to Italy and the food at Los Platillos Voladores was authentic and fresh!!

Emmy your hostess is as sweet as they come (owner with her husband down below/the Chef). 3 long-standing Pizza places , Moyas, Bambu , here..."LPV". Newby Casa Itallia very good. Not much of a review of the wonderfull Italian fare we have here (only pizza review). Each place has there own ambience and all offer the opportunity to watch the world passing through Nuevo Arenal and some making it their home.

Oh my goodness did we have fun at this restaurant. It's simple and it's simply great. We had a group of 8 with no reservation and it didn't matter, they took great care of us. Emi is so warm and funny and the food is GREAT! Totally a hidden gem that I would visit over and over. Thank you!

We stay for a night in the city and we discover this amazing Italian restaurant. It was really good !! I don’t remember eating such good Italian cook. The team is really great and kind. I really recommend you this Italian restaurant to have a good moment.

We visited the restaurant with my wife and my son, the attention was always very good and the food too!
I recommend the homemade ravioli, with any sauce they will look good!

We loved everything about this eclectic place. We each had pasta — pesto and carbonara — and both were outstanding. Best Italian food we’ve had in a long time.

5, this funky spot on the main street of Nuevo Arenal had a delightful proprietor delicious pizza. We also tried the Gnocchi which was equally delicious.

Excelent attention and food, of course I will be visiting again! We tried the pastas and pizzas, and all was delicious!! They also had souvenirs with the alien theme,and of course I got a few!!

Lovely meal served by the owner. Emi (the owner) had a super personality and sense of humor. All of the food was delicious. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.
