We used to visit here regularly a couple of years ago but stopped as the quality of food seemed to go downhill. My Son booked here last week for Sunday lunch so I thought I would give it another go, glad I did as the lunch was great as was the service. Prices a bit more than what I can... More

I've been visiting this Inn for the last 10 years as I live locally. I've always enjoyed their Sunday lunches and occasional evening meals. About a year ago I heard that the restaurant was under new management so my partner and I decided to give it a try, the starter and main courses were delicious but unfortunately both puddings were... From booking online to paying at the end our whole time was flawless. Booking online was easy, staff were able to add additional people to my original booking (twice!) With no fuss. The pub has a lovely 'oldy-worldy' feeling, is clean, tidy and welcoming. My 5 friends and I ordered a variety of different starters and mains, all were served... More

A sad reflection on its former glory. Menu exceptionally limited without even a sirloin steak in sight, leave alone a fillet! Wine list again very limited, consisting of mediocre plonk. No grand reserva etc. Unfortunately the prices don't reflect the downward spiral of the menu! So disappointing considering the previous excellent restaurant this was.

Called in last minute today and was welcomed into a friendly pub that cooked the food exactly as we asked with a proper taste of good old Welsh cooking with a twist, mash with black pudding, lamb stew, fresh salmon, steak an ale pie and the menu goes on. I'm so glad Simon @ BMW bikes told us about you... More
