Hi Gary H In reply to your strange and totally unfair review - We can assure you that we have never served a Sunday lunch on a Saturday so your comment just does not make any sense what so ever! We have served hundreds of meals and the feedback from our many GENUINE customers is proof of the standards in... More

Can't say how much we enjoyed Sunday lunch here! They served us even though we rolled in just before they closed the kitchen, the roast dinners were the best I've tasted and the puddings were to die for! The landlord and all the staff were so so friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more!

Visited on a recommendation and really glad we did. We hadn't booked but luckily we were given a table with only a 25 min wait, which gave us chance to have a drink beforehand. The owner was so friendly and all the staff were extremely pleasant. The place is only small so gives a nice cosy feeling to your dining.... More

Place looks really nice & is well decorated & presented. The food is good but the service is slow & poor. It is a little pricy for what you get.

I can not understand why anyone would wait 6 months to write a review of any kind - seems a strange thing to do. We only offer a small and competitively priced menu on a Saturday Lunch - so to be honest I do not believe you even visited our establishment. We have received fabulous reviews constantly from our customers... More

Thursday Night - Pie Night supplied from a reputable butchers in Nuneaton. Add this with great veg, its ace. Friday Night - Fish & Chips. Very simple and easy, but taste lovely. Sunday Day - the typical sunday dinner. We are very fortunate to live in an area surrounded with great village pubs with fantastic food. But we are yet... More
