On a hot summers day there is no better place to book a table at than by the beach at the lifeboat viw cafe having their fresh crab salad. Cash only and you can enjoy a bottle of arose too.

Returning for fabulous New Year Celebrations again 2016/17. Scrumptious food, stunning talented entertainment, comfortable rooms, attententive staff, what was there not to like. We have booked a return visit to celebrate next New Year - we look forward to partying in style again.

Only found this cafe by chance on our first day of our holiday. Lovely scones with butter, jam and clotted cream. Coffee decent as well.

Walking the dog we were caught in a sudden downpour. This lovely little cafe opposite the life boat in Bembridge presented an enticing refuge! We, and the dog, were welcomed in doors. The situation is indeed appealing, with wonderful views out to sea. On a sunny day we have sat outside which is delightful if a little rustic. The crab... More

The outside of the cafe looks rather run down but the service is good and the food is reasonable. The ice creams are delicious. The crab sandwiches looked very good. There is indoor seating but the majority of visitors tend to sit outside taking in the lovely sea views. There are public loos just a few steps away ajoining the... More

Sat outside, looking to sea, with lovely views of the lifeboat station, eating freshly made crab sandwiches. Truly delicious.

Popped in for lunch while waiting the lifeboat station to open. Glad we did as the food, dressed crab, was very nice and a great change from standard cafe food. Also liked the fact my dog was welcome. Only negative is you need cash so if there is a few of you it could be a challenge these days. Needs... More

This was our first visit and I will be back. We had the seafood platter between us, which was excellent. Very fresh and tasty Lobster, crab and prawns but there was way to much lettuce, maybe some beetroot or coleslaw with it would be better and allow more bread per person.

Excellent little cafe on seafront adjacent to lifeboat station. We have eaten there over the last three years of visiting Bembridge. Crab baquettes are really good.
