Have just got home after the most fantastic lunch at this beautiful riverside restaurant. Everything about this place is magical - the location is just perfect with wonderful views of the river and there is even a tame swan coming to visit on the terrace. The food and service were excellent, and they know how to do an espresso martini!... More

We have been coming here for years. Remember Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous restaurant review about 'no crab' in the early 2000s. We normally try in the summer to sit outside and take in the lovely views, it's been very hit and miss over the years. Our first try in its new format. They deserve success. The menu is classic Italy.... More

We had a beautiful family celebration here on Saturday lunchtime. Authentic, tasty Italian food. We were all looked after by very attentive staff, who catered for our every whim (even though I was being very demanding as I wanted it to be perfect for everyone!). The food was brilliant, the setting wonderful, and even the weather was lovely. The best... More

Nice enough food and great location but time for a refit internally and more importantly some staff training on service would be a great investment. Continually reminding the staff to bring things you've ordered and asked for is frustrating .. I think Manuel from Fawlty Towers would have fitted in quite nicely here.

Our seats were fine although a blind to shade us from the bright winter sun would have been nice. The menu was suspiciously long and contained superfluous adjectives such as 'tasty'. I won't speak for my fellow guests but here's what I had and what I thought of it. They brought us an amuse bouche. A little square of vegetables.... More

Visited here on a Saturday evening with high hopes of a traditional Italian meal in a wonderful setting. Staff were very welcoming - but the room was so cold we actually held on to our coats for the entire evening! The starters were lovely and the service, although a little slow, was very professional. The main courses, however arrived on... More

Returned to Rossini's for my Husband's 60th birthday lunch, with our boys and partners and grandchildren. A lovely warm welcome, fantastic table overlooking the river, brilliant service and wonderful Italian food. The children were made to feel welcome and special, as was the "Birthday Boy", who was treated to free cake and a rendition of "happy birthday". Frito Miso was... More

Went to Goring today to pay respects to George Michael. Found out that this place was one of several local eating places that George frequented, so treated my wife to a meal here before placing flowers at George's house. Lovely setting on the bank of the Thames. Food and service were off the scale. Try the House special Vegetable Lusagne... More

My husband and I thought we'd treat ourselves to lunch here as we are staying in to see the new year in. As ever the food was sublime! We love family run Italian restaurants. If only they had lasagne on their regular menu but the Fritto Misto and the Liver cooked in sage and butter was delicious! Already looking forward... More

Read numerous good reviews, so we went a few months back. Great setting on the Thames granted (building and outside area bit dog-eared round the edges though), but the food was very average and of a heavy disposition - overcooked pasta, uninspired and bland sauces, chalky dry lobster etc. Quality (to be fair) that seems to be the norm in...
