We visited the restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed, in fact surprised as to how good this was. The set menu for 30 euros was very good value for money. The portions are larger than usual and the service...was excellent. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting this area.More
If you want a rustic Spanish restaurant with excellent food and super service this is it.
It's a little more pricey than our usual eateries but worth it. We'll certainly be returning as soon as possible.
Went to Salt and Pepper on a Monday night during lockdown. What a shame to see this beautiful restaurant almost empty owing to the current pandemic. We were given a window table in the large airy room. Service was pleasant and prompt and professional. A...nice selection is offered and will please most tastes. Lovely to be served on good linen table cloths and great cutlery and glass ware. The food was excellent and tasty. The overall experience was very positive and I can recommend a visit to this restaurant. Wishing all the people at Salt and Pepper best wishes for the future and and looking forward to seeing you fully up and running soon. TomC.More
We returned having not been here for nearly a year due to travel restrictions. The food was exceptional, and the young lady who served us was really efficient and friendly. Both had the Mediterranean set menu. Fantastic calamari and amazing monkfish and prawn skewer (...as well as the tuna salad, garlic bread, beautiful ham and almonds and fab deserts). Wine was good too. All this with coffee (and a couple of large beers) for around €60 which is great value. Such a wonderful place to relax and sample local produce. Highly recommend.More
The restaurant is located on a busy road close to a motorway but that’s the only downside we encountered. We were seated outside and soon forgot about any road noise. An interesting and varied menu soon had us forgetting about our immediate surroundings. The food...was exquisite. Chicken curry, sirloin steak and lamb chops were all delicious. The young servers, although not fluent in English were professional and efficient. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and a place we will certainly return to.More
Haven't been here for quite some time but so glad we returned recently. The whole experience was good from the new decor, outside eating area, the new bar, which looks like a great chill out place, the table settings and the staff were excellent, attentive...and nothing too much trouble.
We were with some friends and had 3 courses, curry, pork knuckle, steak, fish, the portion sizes were good, the garlic prawns were beautiful. Good wine too.
We will be back one evening to visit the bar and have another meal, sometime very soon.More
We had passed this place so many times and never been in so thought we would give it a try. We were the first customers in and sat outside on the terrace. We ordered chateaubriand and it was amazing. The chef brought out a sizzle...pot to cook our steaks on to our own choice which was fabulous. We had plenty of potatoes and veg to to go with it. Service was good. We will definitely come here again.More
